  1. Not my pic obviously, but I ended up with 15mm spacers all round on 235/40/19 and zero rubbing issues.
  2. Did it on mine using Obdeleven, no coding though, just used one of the apps.
  3. Bought some new wheels and tyres. Such a good difference to the ride with these Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6's. Went for 245/40/19 instead of 235/40/19 and you can feel it 👍
  4. Still available? Open to a courier collecting them?
  5. New discs two years on? What mileage, or is it a different car?
  6. So sorry for the resurrection! But wondered how you got on with those discs and which pads did you fit?
  7. Looks fantastic. What wheels and tyres are you running in those photos?
  8. Golf belt was going to be over £900 at VW, and struggled to find any independents to do it because a lot wouldn't work on the high voltage system, and some didn't have the special "tool" required. Not sure if this was software or a physical tool. Haven't priced the superb yet, but its a petrol 280, not a hybrid.
  9. The high-voltage bits are why the belt change costs so much. It was exactly the same with VW when I had the Golf GTE (same 1.4 with 6 speed dsg etc). Thankfully I traded it in for the Superb and they agreed to deal with the belt change in-house.
  10. Thanks mate, very helpful. Are those pictures with the 15/10 setup? Which brand of spacers did you get? Longer bolts too I expect? Thanks Michael
  11. Hi all, thought I'd pop this here as well ad the wheel forum as it'll prob get more views here. I'm looking to get some hubcentric spacers on my Superb 280. It's on the 19" Vegas and I just want them to be more flush with the arches. I've seen bolt on spacers and bolt through spacers. Like the idea of the bolt ons as its slightly more permanent and don't have to worry about them coming off when the wheel comes off etc. Can't seem to find them in thicknesses less than 20mm, I think I'll need between 10-15mm per side so looking for recommendations on thickness, brand and even pics if you have the same setup would be really helpful. Many thanks Kind regards

  13. I had the Koni Special Actives installed on Tuesday, and the car feels fantastic! No more unnecessary bouncing and wallowing over bumps. Firm but not harsh over rougher roads, still plenty of give and comfort. Highly recommended!
  14. That's actually what the garage recommended on the phone so they're going to give me a price when I drop it in.
  15. Booked the 280 into my local VAG independent garage (a minute from my house!) for the following: Fitting the Koni Special Actives Wheel alignment Haldex service Refit my front bumper undertrays after I ripped them off on a high kerb Possibly remove silicate bag in coolant expansion tank, TBC!
  16. Had the Superb into West End Skoda in Edinburgh, for its first service in my ownership. Nice easy process, got a Karoq as a courtesy car for the day. Asked if they cleaned the strainer as part of the haldex service - no, asked if they could - yes, just have to price the seals for the pump as we don't normally remove it. Price came back as £179 or thereabouts. I declined as local indy charges £112. Also was declined a fix for the squeaky wishbone bushes under warranty - £145 to drop the arms + grease + refit - no thanks. Declined a new glove box assembly under warranty as it often opens out of nowhere. £288 to have that replaced. No thanks, can live with it for that price. Will get booked into the indy in Feb for haldex, fitting the Koni Special Actives and maybe the squeaks.
  17. Can't find a definitive name but they seem to be described as 5F and "Roti Vara"
  18. Finally bitten the bullet and ordered the Koni Special Actives for my 280 🤗 got a VAG specialist garage round the corner that will hopefully fit them for a reasonable cost! Larkspeed had one full set in stock and I've heard of other companies with delays on them so figured I may as well get them in now.
  19. Finally put the Audi winter wheels on this week. Quite happy with how they look. Lower offset so they fill the arches more The tyres are a rubbish brand but are brand new so thought I'd give them a chance, seem OK so far! Pic of how the car normally sits on the vegas too.
  20. Can the backrest release be added?
