  1. Yeah missing from the FL. Luckily the scroll wheel is tactile, but it's still 4 clicks to switch modes which is annoying
  2. That's one of he options I didn't select, would explain why mine is blank. Does it work well?
  3. I've just noticed the steering wheel now has a button presumably to switch from ACC to limiter. That's one of the annoyances of my current car, having to go into the assist menu
  4. OP currently tracking down 4 new rattles that have appeared since dismantling the interior
  5. I have an iV with the tiny boot mounted tank fuel tank, I'll stick to filling up when the light comes on! I had the exact same issue in a rental Corsa on Tenerife. 150km indicated range. 15 minutes on the highway and suddenly the range is blank and the light was flashing angrily!
  6. That's an incredible stealth spec for the engine! Well done originally!
  7. So what you're saying is, when the needle is on the bottom stop and the range shows 0 miles, there is actually still 5 litres of fuel in the tank as a reserve?
  8. I find the fuel indicator to be damped weirdly in these cars (and in the last two VAG cars I had before) It takes forever to drop from full, then quickly drops in the bottom half of the gauge. I'd just use the range indicator to plan your trips, it's normally reasonably accurate
  9. I had this on my B8 Passat after some warranty work. When I took it back they said it was impossible for them to have caused it, but took it for a drive and admitted it sounded exactly as described. After a day in the workshop it was diagnosed as a socket set piece that had been left in the exterior plastic windscreen scuttle 😂 Take a look there
  10. Does it not make it incredibly snappy in Sport / GTE mode?
  11. Controversial opinion but I can you not just achieve the effects of a pedal box by pushing the throttle a little further?
  12. The front main seal is is the end of the crankshaft not connected to the gearbox. So just above the sump
  13. If you dont have a dog cage it will just sit flat in a little stack at the edge of the boot. With mine it obviously sits vertically, but it's never stopped the door closing
  14. Photos of how the boot buddy one folds:
  15. If is a flip out one, I've had one of these for 5 years. It's done the job perfectly. It velcros to the boot carpet and can be folded up: https://www.boot-buddy.com/product/bbdbg-skoda-superb-estate-2015-present/
  16. Thule Evo raised rail foot packs and wing bars here. Opens and closes fine without clashing
  17. I think if it suffers a catastrophic HV fault whilst driving, the fire would be the least of my worries!
  18. Fantastic. They should be quite good at it by the time January rolls around!
  19. I'm sure a factory reset might cure it, but it was such a pain to make the key memory work, I'll probably live with the emails!
  20. I logged into the app and somewhere in settings I was prompted to accept a new privacy policy. I've done that and it stopped for a few days, but it's now happening every other day. My connect services don't renew until October so I guess I'll just have to live with it!
  21. You swipe left on the address you want to delete, it then brings up a red bin icon that you tap. You need to do this in the last destinations menu. It's the one where the icon is a person with a map pin
  22. Does anyone have any experience of this constant email I keep getting? Essentially, every time the car is driven, once it's turned off I get the following email. The issue is I've not changed any settings in the car and it's sporadic. It might not do it for a week, then for the next 5 days I'll get an email every time the ignition is turned off
  23. That was a little bit of hyperbole on my part 😉 I do find the anti-pinch mechanism to be effective, though not tested with one of my own limbs!
