Hang on you've said they greased the lock? Is the issue that your charging door doesn't lock or that the cable lock doesn't work?

Although I think the HV system also charges the 12v whilst the car is off but it's connected to an operational / live charger?

Nope only the Skoda map on the cockpit. Carplay will only show its own map on the head unit but it will push navigation instructions to the cockpit (turn right in 3 miles etc)

You definitely only need your licence and the vehicle reg. I just checked who I emailed, his title was after sales manager. Perhaps call your supplying dealer and ask to speak to whoever has the same position?

I think it's time to try and book my own in now because it keeps coming up with an irritating pop-up on the infotainment telling me about the recall!

They don't need anything other than your licence. You don't even need to visit the dealer. I called citygate, they gave me an email address for a service person and they activated it after I sent a photo of my licence. I now have the option in my app but it has never ever worked when I've tried, so I wouldn't want to rely on it!

Are you sure the iV has this functionality?

Estate driver here. Mine is as rubbish as yours, I think the jet is a little too far from the blade but I guess they made a conscious decision to not use the version that sprays via the arm as those always eventually leak and kill the motor. It's complete useless at speeds over 50mph too, the draft just drags the water off as spray. It's an annoyance but not a lot can be done

I can adjust it, the mirror moves but at all angles the handle seems to block the view of the wheel. Has anyone had any better success? @Berisford agree on area view being a bit of a let down, however the side cameras are good for helping you avoid hitting kerbs when parallel parking

Okay so I'm fully conversant in the auto dipping feature with the mirror knob in the correct position, however I have another question. In my previous B8 Passat it was very easy to get it into a dipped position where you could see the rear wheel, which is ideal. In the superb I only seem to be able to get an improved view of the passenger door handle, does everyone have this problem or is it just me?

Have you checked the switch in the front of the car as well as in the rear?

Mine defaults to auto every time you restart the car, but remembers the last used setting if you cycle modes when driving

The annoying thing is if you have it in sports for example and get out and lock it up. When you come back to the car the mood lighting etc is still on sports until you start the ignition, where it then defaults back to normal. So it clearly remembers the last-used mode and then resets. I'd have thought someone would have found a coding workaround by now

Might be an issue with your browser. It definitely says 2021 😉

Mine does the same. Sometimes the resonance is so bad you can feel it through the steering wheel. 2021 iV model here

I think it counts as misting when you buy it as approved used from the dealership or when it's still in warranty. It becomes a catastrophic leak endangering the public when you take it in for a service the day after the warranty expires. 😂

Units won't change automatically but they're in the settings menu. I think the lights change automatically if you get clock time from GPS. If not, you can change them in the light menu above

You could take it off a switched live so it wouldn't be a concern?
