  1. Yes. When fully loaded the 1.4 alone is best described as adequate. It'll get the job done but does feel a bit flat. I don't know how often you drive with the car fully loaded, but the benefit the iV etc has is that you can stick it in sports mode for these occasions and it'll preserve enough charge to make sure you have the full 215hp available at all times - this is what I do on trips to the Highlands etc where I'm not able to plug in on the journey.
  2. The answer is "it depends". Generally yes, you will have full reserve power for a short burst of acceleration. But there are occasions where you can deplete the battery to a point where it no longer has enough charge to support the boost function. In this case it'll kick down etc as normal but you'll be leaning on the ICE alone. After a period of driving it'll build up a small amount of reserve power to support a short boost again. There are ways to manage the battery so you always have boost available. Either by setting a minimum battery charge level or driving exclusively in sport mode.
  3. I pretty much only stream using AA so that might be part of the issue
  4. I'm not sure how great it is tbh. It always seems a little muffled / quiet. I'd be disappointed if I'd paid extra for it
  5. Bizarre that it's the rears though. It must be the only superb where the rear pads actually contact the discs? Perhaps the piston is sticking?
  6. Ditto above. Does the warranty not have a lower time and mileage limit for "wear" items? ETA, yes the limit is 6.5k miles and 6 months. I'd not give them them pleasure of extracting any cash from you for the replacement discs though, take it to an independent. SKODA_Warranty_Terms_November_2021.pdf
  7. Putting this in here in the hope that someone will know. I have a RHD superb, it has the auto-dimming (not dipping) drivers mirror on the offside. If I go on eBay and pick up an auto dimming nearside mirror from a LHD car, will the housing already have all the connectors to enable me to have two dimming mirrors?
  8. Yeah it has a slimline one fitted forward of the fuel tank
  9. Thanks for confirming! Not sure why mine wouldn't close on the remote on that occasion then
  10. I had this issue today. I actually haven't bothered to test it, but I suspect you may only be able to close from the key if you open with the key?
  11. The MIB3 isn't great, I have my own issues with it, I'm waiting for the first service to raise them. I'm not sure where you park your car in relation to your house, but if you're able to connect it to your home WiFi, you may find some of these bits are faster
  12. Dunno how to break it to you, but it worked perfectly! Turned the car on, selected navigation and it popped up as below. Ignore the messy screen
  13. I didn't even know that was a feature! I've sent a destination to the car for the morning, I'll let you know how I get on
  14. You might need to check those V90 prices again! I couldn't even make a V60 work Vs the L&K
  15. Was your fuel light on at the time?
  16. Is it everything on the doors? Stripes and pocket lights? What about the footwells?
  17. Could be something simple like it's forgotten your driver profile. Had similar and it turned out the car had switched to guest profile with no lighting. just turned them back on in the infotainment menu. Start there before taking anything apart
  18. It's technically available on all MIB2 units, Inc with physical buttons. (So late 2015 build onwards?) If it's not been optioned, the dealer will install it for you in return for 400 portraits of the queen
  19. I think it was an option in 2016/17, only becoming standard on late 2017 builds
  20. Massive +1 for park assist. They're the same length as a range rover sport which you remember every time you try to park in a town centre. Here's mine - went for brown leather interior
  21. I had considered this but i got to thinking about the whole purpose of the dynamic system and whether I want the car to intervene any more than it currently does. I think I'd just be paying to make the car more irritating to drive, so I'm happy to stick with ACC and doing the steering myself
  22. FWIW I have the basic lane assist, not the dynamic one. It's not too intrusive but I a bit pointless, the upgraded version with traffic jam assist might be better. It sounds like you're heading towards a sportline with a few boxes ticked, which is a good shout
  23. Agree with @DB72 regarding the lack of bolster support. They also seem higher in the L&K, even at the lowest setting. In saying that, I was in the same position only with an iV. I choose the L&K - I only regret it when I see a dragon green sportline. Incidentally the L&K also gets the Sportline front bumper
  24. It'll release automatically when you press the accelerator. The only time it won't automatically release is if you try to drive off with a door open, here you'll have to release it manually. I don't know that it's going to cause any premature wear. I'm not even sure what system these cars use. I think it's a small motor on each side that winds a pad onto the disc? Hopefully someone will be along with the information!
  25. It'll definitely leave the lights on. Having sat behind another superb tonight, they're also blinding, so I'll make more of an effort in future to use the handbrake
