Just changed the interior lights on my late 2017 model. Boot, footwell, glovebox and front door warning lights are easy. Swapped them for W5W Philips Ultinon 6000k. No error, simple plug and play. Overhead lights are also relatively easy to swap, but for these I had to buy W5W Canbus leds as it would not work with the Philips Ultinon. For boot, footwell, glove box and door warning light I would recommend to buy “flat” style led lights as it lights only one side. For ceiling lights it is better to buy normal bulb style which produces light in all directions. I am also going to change the sunshade light (above the small mirror). Those are C5W style. All in all I am happy with the look. Did not like it before where there were several different shades of yellow-white-ish colour.

I had my windscreen replaced today. Through Skoda. And they did bad job. The sensor in the middle was not done properly. So it went back... Also got the original spare wheel with the tools.

I have issue where I can not register my car in the infotainment system. Everytime I put the code it says Registration unsuccessful. tried usual troubleshooting as well.

Hi, about a week ago I bought Skoda Superb 2018 1.4tsi ambition model. I want to have the app with statistics so I paid £36 and followed all steps for Skoda Connect. When I type the code to register it I get message Registration unsuccessful. Please try again. Summary of my troubleshooting: I tried it several times during last few days. Factory reset infotainment system, including “delete skoda connect user”. I did remove the car from Skoda connect and added again. Phone was connected via bluetooth and also via apple Car play. Icon for data connection indicates it is connected (white globe+key+car icon). I also deleted my account from Skoda, registered again and got new code to register- same message. I used app as well as web portal. My trim is basic and I dont have wifi option in the car nor the sim in glove box tray. Any advice/suggestion to make it work (connect)? Thank you for your help!
