  1. Just tried this and worked for me, App is now updating correctly and Infotainment shows as synchronized
  2. yeah it does appear to sit on top of the bumper, I also seem to get a lot draining from the doors when I open them after not using it for a few days
  3. yeah think I will see if my local detailer can put some PPF on it, it does seem an oversight as I got marks in the same place on my MK3 within weeks of getting it
  4. I did wonder if it would be like the mud flaps where they say not VRS but it actually fits
  5. Has anyone found something like the below for a VRS http://www.kopacek.com/Skoda/OCTAVIA-IV/Octavia-IV-Combi-rear-bumper-protective-panel-by-Martinek-Auto-V2-BASIC All the Superskoda ones say not RS
  6. Clarity seems very good and from reading up it appears to have a level of noise cancelling to make the cabin quieter from Road noise as well which seems to work quite well when driving along listening to the stereo
  7. yeah mids seems to be in the door card in the front and the rear appear to have a mid and possibly tweeter in the door
  8. I was a little unsure when ordering as my last one a MK3 was grey and found it a little dull tbh, I always liked Race Blue but up until the MK4 seemed very common colour but it doesn't seem this way so far on MK4
  9. I have a call in with my local service department so hoping to find out if I can do anything about it soon, for now I will make do with pressing Mode and choosing Individual each time Canton is pretty good, I had a mk3 with no Canton and it was terrible (to be clear before that I had BMWs with Harmon Kardon so like bass in the car and not comparing to base stereos and also a misspent youth putting multiple 15" subs in RS Turbos and GTIs so my expectations are high) The Canton in the MK4 is good but probably not as good as the 3 series Harmon Kardon from a bass point of view, to be fair that had two small subs under the seats vs the Skoda having it in the spare wheel well so wasn't expecting the same, the way I look at it the standard is lacking a lot (in my opinion) so I would have been disappointed if I had not added the Canton and it will no doubt improve as it is run in and loosens up
  10. Ordered Beginning of November and Build week was late Dec Added only a few options so Canton & Wireless Charging The actuator is noticeable in normal mode, some of the early demos I believe did not even have the actuator (was hoping mine was an early enough build I would not have one at all :) )
  11. Hi All, have been reading for a while as used to have a mk3 VRS estate but never got around to signing up as spent a few years in a 3 series since then Picked this up a few days ago and very impressed with the newer model so far
  12. Just collected my VRS and the actuator is louder than my old mk3 even in Normal mode, I have turned it of in Individual, does anyone know how to make the car start up in individual mode or remember the last drive mode
