I had after market towbar fitted to my superb estate. I went for a removable swan neck type with dedicated wiring. Cost about £700 ish. I have had no problems with it, reversing sensors work with or with out the tow ball fitted.

I have the same problem with my superb. It is booked into the dealers so they can have look at it. This morning I disconnected the + terminal on the battery for 30 mins, then reconnected the terminal this has cleared all the errors and faults, I know they will probably cone back again but nice to drive it as it was again

Picked up ours on Friday and yes it has the same hole

I'm looking for a superb estate 190 bhp diesel with a manual gear box 3 years ish old.... I'm starting to think that this model was only built with a auto gearbox? I have been looking for a while and can't find any. Any one any ideas on this? Many thanks

To follow on with this post I have now brought a new caravan a swift challenger with mptl of 1700. Purchased it from near cambridge to first tow home was about 200 miles, the car towed brilliantly best tow I have ever had ... even managed a average of 33mpg. I was also surprised at how stable it was towing ... very pleased with

Hi all .. I have been towing a caravan for many years always with a company car and usually at 100% tow match. I have now taken voluntary redundancy which has turned into early retirement... So I have a 2018 sel executive manual 2 ltr 150 estate I know the towing capacity for this model is 2000kg. I'm looking at getting a new caravan with a mptl weight of 1800kg. So... what's your thoughts on this? Will it be to much for the car? Not worried about the 85% tow match I'm mainly thinking of the long term wear on the car. Should I get a lower weight caravan? Any advice welcome. Thanks

Wife is waiting for her new to her superb to be delivered. When the garage were valeting the car they noticed that the drivers door would not unlock. They could open it from the inside. They fitted new batteries in the key and it worked, they tested the car all day it worked fine. Next morning same fault again it would not unlock with the key... any ideas? It's a 2018 technology manual 2.0 tdi.
