My 2021 vrs had this issue. I think a sensor was replaced or recalibrated under warranty

I'd have to second the car shades recommendation. Had mine for 4 years and they have been great. Far better than the cheap stick on versions in my opinion.

I saw that too, was impressed considering the road surface! Autocar did a test with great results considering it was damp and cold!

I had my car delivered mid Jan and it has the Bridgestone Potenza S005 on (UK)

Excuse the filthy car but you get the idea. I personally think they look as good as each other.

I have removed the aero covers and initially bought the glossy grey covers however they didn't include the locking wheel nut covers which I wanted. I have since gone for the grey which is part number 000 071 215 N Z37 which include the locking wheel nut covers.

Hope you are enjoying the new motor! Some of the earlier mk4 Octavias had a cooled glove box, the half circle will be where the dial would have been. Not sure when they phased this out.

I don't suppose you know the code for the for the locking wheel nut caps? I can't seem to find them anywhere in the same colour

I will grab a photo which is not outside my house tomorrow and post it. It's clean enough for a quick pic. Undecided whether to remove the aero inserts. I don't actually mind them too much but I've already bought the hub caps etc. And yes, 2 brollies and 3 keys! Also whilst I thought it was part of the spec but didn't expect to receive it, nice to have the phone holder in the back of the front seat, reversible boot mat, nets etc.

The car has arrived! Got to say, I agree with previous comments that it feels more refined and as if Skoda have listened to some of the negatives from the pre facelift. Really happy with the exhaust tone and lack of fake noise. Two negatives I've noticed on the facelift in my opinion, no keyless entry on the rear doors (I did know about this beforehand) and I preferred the alcantara on the dash but certainly do not outweigh the pros. And finally, my car is on the Bridgestones! My pre facelift was on Goodyears which I was impressed with. Hoping the Bridgestones are similar in performance. Overall, very happy 😁

I've gone the opposite way, race blue to grey. Looking forward to a change but do love the race blue colour!

Got my delivery date as next Wednesday, can't wait. Seems there were a fair few delivered over the Christmas period!

That's brill, appreciate the advice. I think I'm getting my car next wednesday so will get it for sale early next week after a good clean! Hoping it sells pretty quickly as I ideally want rid before the new one lands.

Thanks for this. Loved having my pre facelift and whilst it is a similar car it is good to hear the facelift is an improvement! Looking forward to getting mine hopefully this month! Trying to decide whether to take the aero covers off or not, I don't think they look too bad to be honest (I know this is likely a controversial opinion 😂)

Mine was replaced under warranty with no respray (as far as I'm aware). It was completed the same day.

I've gone with arbury too after having PCP's. I couldn't get a deal on PCP that was anywhere close.

I ordered my lease on the 15th November and asked for an update first week of December. I was told it would likely be delivered to me the second week of January as it was still awaiting transport to the UK.

I had mine sorted under extended warranty. They just said the gear selector mechanism was replaced but didn't go into much detail. Mine started as the occasional error but eventually ended up being a daily occurrence. Didn't have any issues driving but occasionally had a loud clunk when changing from parking to drive after a while.

My 2021 car has been in for work at Skoda today, they told me when I booked it in this morning that it was showing as needing an over the air update. Nothing was completed by them as it's down as OTA which the customer can do but still showing no update when I've picked the car up this evening. May suggest the update is coming to older cars soon but who knows.

Im in the same boat but only ordered about 3 weeks ago. Awaiting a ship to the UK. Mines been estimated as the second week of Jan now by the leasing company. I was told bad weather had caused some delays but who knows. I've been given the reg it will have and VIN number. I was tempted to activate it on the app to see if I could see where it was 😂

Balloon payment due at the end of April 2025 on a 4 year PCP with pretty much as quoted mileage.
