I can comment on the 3. question. I got heavy vibrations on the steering wheel, even though I balanced the wheels 3 times. The fault was with the bad centering ring on the front rims. Maybe check the back wheels if you don't use OEM rims. I wish you best of luck. MR

@j caff I forgot the apps require subscription. Since I still got it and a few credits I'm using it, although I read the apps are not the best way to modify the car. They apperently change the other things in the system. Anyway, kudos to you for long coding the stuff.

I foud a solution for the mirrors: there is an app in obdeleven. Just select Manual and it works like i wanted to. (don't know what to do in VCDS) Hope it helps someone. Still got nowhere with the CH/LH lights... Best regards, MR

Hello guys. I got a couple of things I want to correct and I really don't know how and where to look. Obdeleven recently got an app update for the Superbs CH/LH lights. Now the turn signals on the front or/and the back light up when locking and unlocking the car. I like the look so much I would like this during the day as well, but CH/LH lights only light up, when it's dark enough. Is there any way to change the parameters? the other thing I want to achieve is this: (only folding the mirrors with a long press to reduce the wear on the motors) Any ideas? Best regards, MR

@JR RS I'm in the talks with the paint shop to fill in the indent and paint the boot portion. Still waiting for that aliexpress strip to come though.

@JR RS Woah, thanks man. That's exactly what I want... Except I have a vagon not a sedan. I like the new light design but I'm not spending 1500€ for new tail lights. Where did you get the strip? (please tell me it's a basic strip i can find online somewhere) The old post shows the strip is also on the bottom oh the boot and the lights. Honestly your modifications look like stock. Kudos.

@numskull I agree with you. Changing the design losses it's story. But I would like to attempt something that was designed by skoda designers for the updated model. I don't thing I'm changing its design story or ruining the look of the car (which in the end is quite subjective) I quite like the bar across, preferably in glossy black instead of chrome... @JR RS Okay, you went a bit too far for my liking. If i had deep pockets i wouldn't be retrofiting anything i would just buy the new model. I was just curious about the bar on the back. I would darken rear lighhts and add a black bar across the boot and the lights. That would be it. Oh yeah, i would also remove the logo, fill in and repaint the back. now it's just a question.. Does the bar fit the old model. Creating it from scratch... could be a nightmare. Best regards, MR

Hello, I was just wondering if I could upgrade my skoda superb 2018 to look like the newer model. Has anyone already tried this? I did a couple of functional mods to the car, now I'm going into the design improvements, since I like the newer model a lot. For now I'm wondering about the bar on the boot. Does the bar on the newer model fit the old one? Also, any cosmetic modification you've done to the car or just ideas are appreciated. Best regards, MR

@Bap33 Once again thanks for the help. Got the reverse bulb and fog lights you recommended. Big improvement in terms of visibility in the dark and color matching in the front. I also did some obdeleven mods, but realized it's quite limited.

@Bap33 Damn man. Amazing. Thanks for all this. you modified the car through and trough. Can you also send fog lights you installed? Im thinking of adding a spare tyre in the future.
