Has anyone got links to the parts list with diagrams for a mk4 yet? just had a reverse camera fitted and need the pipe to connect the washer jet in the camera, the new camera had the nipple for the pipe, but didnt come with the pipe 😞

I have a set of 17" procyons and want to put them on the Mrs' new car. Does anyone have a link to new non skoda centre caps that will fit (ideally with the four rings logo on)? I bought some that had the wire clip inside them, but they didn't fit, and looking at the original ones, they don't have the wire?

So in theory you could get skoda to upgrade your software to give you 265,then it would be manufacturer approved software?

Has anyone worked out the ambient lighting codes on the MkIV yet? I'm hoping to be able to set the colour for the individual modes. There is a post on the golf forum which relates to the fpa_profile_x values to change the presets, but it only relates to a golf with four driving modes. There are 6 fpa_profile_x values to change, and 16 (0-15) potential values, which gives over 16 million possible combinations. Knowing what each profile relates to would be useful! I've tried a few combinations, with varying results, but there doesn't seem to be any logic to the values.

Saturday night philosophical question. With the new mk4.5 reportedly having 265hp, does anyone know if this is a mechanical difference, or just a tuning remap? If its just tuning, and all the mechanicals are the same as the mk4, in theory if I remapped my mk4 to 265,it shouldn't affect the warranty, as the mechanical components can cope with it. Discuss 🤣😂🤣

@petopzdiag have you looked into changing the ambient colour for driving modes at all? there is a guide for the golf 8, butthat only refers to 4 driving modes, not the 5 that the octy has.

I think there could be, I installed the 30 different colours app from the skoda store, and the coding change that's listed for it on here and other sites hasn't happened. I think that the ones you get from skoda change the coding somewhere else, if you get what I mean?

Its the function that automatically puts your full beams on when conditions are suitable, you activate it by pushing the indicator stalk forward. by default it resets to 'off' when you switch the ignition off and back on again. This mod stops that reset, so it's always on

Yes, I successfully did quite a few changes, G-meter, volume to refuel, headlight assistant always on, so I know the obdeleven is working 😁

This doesn't work for the Octavia, probably because the golf only had four dive modes, while the octy had five. I can change the values in the interior lights general settings, but it just does random things. None of the mapping_fpa_profilexx settings seem to relate to the drive modes.

Yes, control unit 09 was unlocked. I am aware that this guide was for a golf, has anyone managed to get it to work for an octavia?

I have seen these posts, but wasn't able to change the values in the modes, don't know if there was a previous step I missed?

@petopzdiag do you have a more updated list of coding available for the mkiV vrs? I used your original list and successfully coded : G-meter Volume to be replenished but Lap timer didn't seem to work - when i get to Control unit 17 adaptation-personalization -display _laptimer to active - it wont accept that change ( gives error 31) There are a couple of other things i want to do, can you help with these? Rear teardrop wipe set ambient colors in 'mode' setting to specific colours. set convenience turn signal from 3 to 5 Also i took up the free offer from skoda for extra ambient colours and additional functions, They are free for the first month, after which i'll want to code them in, you've already shared the extra colours, do you have a 'how to' for the additional features?

I've just picked up my mkiV and have to say I'm loving it one thing that does annoy me, the car automatically connects to android auto on my phone, and decides that I want to listen to whatever i was listening to on spotify last. I dont want to listen to spotify in my car, I have a 64Gb usb stick that has the music i listen to in my car, and I want to listen to that (even though it's a pain in the ass to search through, unlike in the mk3.5). Is there a way to either tell the car not to autoplay from AA, or even not to connect until i tell it to? *not the best picture, but it was snowing

Your company quoted me over £1200 for a new Octy iV vrs with mods declared( wheels and exhaust). when i questioned why it was so high your agent told me that Adrian Flux give you better deals the longer you've owned the car. very good way to lose business from new car buyers!!

Anyone after a set of 19" Altairs? They've done all of 59 miles. Complete with factory fitted Bridgestone potenza S005 225/40 tyres. Selling as I swapped them out for my own wheels as soon as I got the car home from the dealer. So they're in perfect condition. Over £1800 to buy new, yours for £1200. Appr. £60 quid for shipping.

Found a guy down here who says he can do it for a reasonable price. I don't think you could count him as a competitor, there's probly room in the UK for two of your! He says he gets cameras from a factory in Germany, is that where you get yours by any chance

Thanks for that, I can't find the factory spec camera anywhere! The only price I can find down here to have it fitted is over £800. Can't believe you're the only person in the UK that can do it at your price 😱

Edit: OK the skoda part number on that website is for the head unit 🤦 Does anyone know if that part will fit? Just need to find a good auto electrician in south Wales to fit it!

No, it needs the electric memory seats, cos that's how it remembers where to dip the mirror to.
