Just discovered 'topping off' never heard the term before but something I'm guilty of and no idea it could cause an issue. Cars used for private hire so always filled it past the click without any idea it could cause issues

I've missed the F off the end its P040F Quick Google came up with :

Engine management light came on today, plugged my cheap code reader in and got P040 which is linked to a faulty EGR, would a fault on EGR valve result in the car spluttering in 2 cylinder mode ?

Any idea how long it takes dvla to respond to untaxed car reports ?

This all stems from a noise nuisance dispute we've got ongoing with them , dad and lad are proper knobs , last resort will be to report him for drug driving

2 of the vehicles are showing expired tax and been reported, but mot's are OK He's a young idiot pot head so doubt the insurance is right Done online chat with GMP so its now in their hands Also reported the pick up truck he uses as one of the tyres is dangerous , tread on the inside has completely gone showing the threads on the inside

If a motor vehicle is in trade it doesn't have to be insured Is this applicable if the vehicle is kept on a public road ? Next door neighbour who i don't get on with has 3 on the street all of which according to askmid are uninsured

Put them all back in now , they looked fine other than oil on plug 1

Oil wasn't burnt , looked fresh

Runs ok except when it goes into eco mode

Changed them approx 3 months ago, car was running fine then , didn't notice anything wrong them , they were just dye a change

Just checked spark plugs, quite a bit of oil on spark plug 1 , other 3 are fine. Is this consistent with engine misfire whilst in 2 cylinder mode ? Also noticed oil around the rim of air intake pipe when reconnecting it

COD ? There's definitely vibration thats not previously been there

Realised on way home today that the misfire/vibration occurs when engine goes into eco mode. This make it any easier to diagnose the actual issue ?

The P0148 code could be one of a few things, would a vcds scan pinpoint more specificly what the problem is ?

So after looking up code B103E1A and it recommending disconnecting negative terminal from battery for 10 mins , which I did and now get the following on starting the car

Had it scanned for codes yesterday it came up with the below , are they likely to be the same issue Is fuel gauge sensor same thing as and just another name for pressure sensor?

Am I missing something in the small print or is this a very good deal ? Is there any questions that need to be asked before going ahead with it ? Got some pliers at have a go at giving it a wiggle to reseat as suggested, not a chance, ends of the clip i need to get in the pliers are on the blind side of the pipe with the other pipe in the way of getting the pliers in place

It's losing some regularly and keeps being topped up due to leaky pipe, going to have a look today but will probably replace pipe and need to buy some anyway Not the most reliable source of information but after googling is g13 my safest bet for top up and refill ?

My coolant needs topping up, had timing belt done few months back and had it drained and refilled , not a clue what coolant is in it. It's 69 plate 1.5 tsi Is there a particular coolant i should use which would mix OK with whatever is already in it or is complete drain and refill my only option?

New one is only £48 from lllparts. Cars done 108k , it's my livelihood as I'm a private hire driver, peace of mind
