  8. Recently ran archoil through it , last few thousand miles have been tesco momentum so all should be clean Spark plugs are good Cambelt done a couple of months ago I've got some cheap £50 fault code reader that says all is good Smoke test is to check for any air leaks anywhere

  11. Having issues with jerking so looking at replacing coil pack My coil pack oem is 05E 905 110 , octaia 3 1.5 tsi 2019 DPCA Seen a pack on ebay same oem but but with an A on the end from 1.5 etsi vw golf mark 8 2023 DFYA Will they be ok for mine ?

  15. Trying to find out the correct outer cv joint for my car but been told 2 are correct but with slight size variations namely the length one says 97mm the other 99.5mm , it's for a 69 plate 1.5tsi, DPCA. Would the 2.5mm difference be critical on the length?

One of my bushes has started creaking over bumps (2019 1.5 tsi 105k 90k taxi miles) sprayed it a couple of times with silicone spray but needs sorting Mechanic advised it'd be more cost effective to change complete wishbone due to time involved changing bushes only Is this right and if so where is the best place to buy a replacement as I'm guessing the £50 sets on Ebay are better avoided ?

  20. Cars done 100k and I've done the last 83k , there's definitely a slight change
  21. Very minor momentary loss of power mainly felt cruising in 4th Changed spark plugs and air filter , no change, doing oil and filter this weekend
  22. I had a leak repaired on it recently and I'm sure he said he drained 1.7 which was enough , could the shortfall be the cause of slight jerking ?
  23. Same symptoms as mine It's in at local vag garage Monday for cambelt change, I'll get a diagnosis on the clicking and report back
  24. Same problem myself , is there a way to tell or any signs for definite it is the cv joint ?
