  1. All, at the end I did it!! It was quite easy (just few "bad words" to disconnect the Air Bag from Steering wheel). All works (🤞 since I tried for about 20 km), no coding and no errors. Thanks all and in particular to Nedko.
  2. Hi all and sorry for ask you probably a "stupid" question. I have a Skoda Superb III Estate (3V5) - 2.0 TDI with analogical cockpit (part number: 3V0 920 751 E). I have Columbus. I would like to install a Virtual cockpit, but reading about your experiences, it seems not a "plug in" operation. Is this correct? Which code should I buy? I found on internet several options. Thanks for all the help you can provide.
  3. Thanks a lot Nedko!! What about the control unit? Is it ok to work with paddles? Sorry but the official dealer said me that also this one have to be change. Thanks.
  4. Sorry, I forgot also to ask for this. I found also this code: 5E0 419 091 BT BGW. This is with "view" button and paddles, but for me is impossible to understand if this one fit with my airbag or if will work with mi Superb. Again, please help me. Thanks
  5. Hi Nedko and all. I finally found time to remove the airbag and check some codes. My steering wheel code is: 5E0 419 091 BQ CWE, while air bag code is 3V0 880 201 AB IZY. I found on internet this new code for a steering wheel with paddles and "view" buttom: 5E0 419 091 BR CWE It seems ok, The point is that the seller say the the airbag code for this steering wheel is different from mine: 6V0 880 201 T. But how this is possible? Who can hepl my on this? In addition i check the unit control behind the wheel, and the code and it is: 5Q1.953.569.A. Who can help my to understand if I can use the paddles without additional modifications or codes? It seems that the same code in installed on VW ARTEON that is provided with paddles. I'm becoming crazy......
  6. Hi Nedko and all, I found the steering wheel in the picture. It have VIEW button and paddles. The only doubt it that it is heated, while I don’t have this option on my car. Do you think it is ok anc can fit on my Superb?
  7. Ok. My understanding is that if a have a multifunction steering wheel it is not required to change the module, whatever the level of the car (i.e. Style, L&K, RS, etc.). Correct?
  8. Hi Nedko, sorry hut I have another question. Do you think I have to change also the multi-function steering wheel module? Is should be similar to this. Thanks
  9. Hi, just received feedback from the supplier. Is is out of stock and no way to order it😰. I have to buy the two items, st wheel and multi functions buttons. Nedko, and about steering wheel disassembly, do you have suggestions? For example, do I have to disconnect the battery? And when? After I have unlock the airbag or before to star with any kind of operation? Is it required a torx key to remove the st. wheel? Which size?
  10. Nedko what do you think about this? https://www.cars-equipment.com/en/shop/flat-bottom-steering-wheels-3/oem-5e0419091btbgw-flat-bottom-dsg-steering/ Unfortunately it is "on request" and not available, but I have requested more info.
  11. Hi Nedko, and about steering wheel disassembly, do you have suggestions? For example, do I have to disconnect the battery? And when? After I have unlock the airbag or before to star with any kind of operation? Is it required a torx key to remove the st. wheel? Which size? In the upgrade is plug&play why do you say that without coding the car is registering some communication errors? What do you mean? Will I loose some functions or can I have some problems? Sorry for all this questions, but I want to be sure to enjoi more with my car after this modification without problems. Thank
  12. Dear Negko, thank you very much for your help. Finally I got a person able to give me the right info. About button view I think you are right. Today I did some checks and it allow me to move into the menu, so i think i have to buy also the buttons. My car is the executive model, do you think the upgrade will be plug&play as per your car? Because this morning i went to a skoda official dealer with a friend and i ask info about this upgrade. They said it is not feasible because it is required to change the control unit etc.
  13. Hi, and thanks for your support. I think that in any case I can disassembly the buttons from my actual steering wheel and install on new one, instead that buy a new ones In any case I saw several tutorial on internet and I'm worry that it can't work or can be complicated, requiring software configurations, for example. If you have the patience to search for your contact or the part number of the st wheel that you have bought and installed, I'll appreciate too much. Thanks FDB
  14. NedkoBG this is a picture of my cockpit. Also for me it is strange to have view button with a "standard" display, considering that the button works only as phone function. At this point according to your consideration I can fit also this https://www.cars-equipment.com/en/shop/three-spoke-steering-wheels-10/oem-3v0419091s-cwe-mfsw-multifunction-steering/ What do you think?
  15. Hi NedkoBG, no heated st required. II found a lot with phone symbol instead of word "view" as per your case and my case. The display is the standard one, no digital. I'll check as per your suggestion on eBay.eu and eBat.co.uk, but consider that I already spend a lot of time on these sites without a result. In any case I'll share with you something that appear similar. Thanks
