Hi all, as the arrival of our cars seems to be approaching, I’ve started to think about the outside protection. I drive mostly on highways and my last car had numerous dents and scratches on the bonnet and front bumper and now I would like to know if there is a way to avoid it or how do you take care of it. Thanks.

Anticipation builds as soon as I enter the number, but all goes downhill as nothing happens 😉 I got some info from dealer this morning - new cars are arriving on daily basis so not much longer now. Fingers crossed

Both infos come from this forum from other users. About the parking spaces - about the same time as someone posted this info here (a few pages ago) someone also wrote the same on the Czech Škoda forum. I memorized the end of September as I also fall in the category of the unfinished cars. I also remember being quite sceptical as it came out with upcoming summer closures (so this was quite a few more pages ago). Don’t kill the messenger 😉😊

I got VIN, car parked since April. Tried to fish some info from dealer today, no reply yet. But I think the plan was to have the unfinished ready by the end of September, not August. Someone also mentioned that the parking places are almost empty, but I find it hard to believe.

Maybe worth checking this thread: I thought they fixed this issue for new cars though.

I just don’t get it how this is possible, having so many ppl waiting for over a year with no info yet 🤦🏼‍♀️

On 22/03 I received info from dealer that my car went into production. A few emails later, on 11/04 I received info that it has VIN, but went to parking lot, supposedly because of missing door panels. Delivery was supposed to be in May, and when that week passed, the status got changed to delayed. No updates since.

They do keep surprising us 😁 do you know if it’s already a new one or the one that will eventually have to be replaced?

And virtual pedal wasn’t?

Wasn’t the engine cover prone to fire and therefore needed replacement which is not available yet? Did you order electric seats and received your car without? Nevertheless, nice looking car, many safe miles 👍

Yep, parked since April. My bet would also be on this year as I already have the VIN number and MY22, maybe as a Christmas present 😉🤬

I have none of these components or features and yet I am still waiting for my car to be finished since beginning of April. Makes me wonder about those supposedly empty parking lots. Anyway, the excitement is gone 😞
