Maybe it stands for complete build, I doubt it is delivery week. According to our dealer the car usually arrives within 5 days after the status changes to Transport (from CZ to Slovenia, by road or railway I guess). Supposedly they tend to finish cars that already have their VIN number in max 2 months. Mine is now about 1 month after being partly built with VIN.

Ok, received answer, no changes so far, waiting for parts (door panels?), still due for week 20 atm.

I also sent an email to the dealer today (fishing for some news), but haven’t received answer yet. Let’s hope it’s not because of pushback…

Exactly, sellers are there to sell cars, they will sure give you an optimistic scenario. But 18 months, that’s really bummer, mate 🥺

Skoda promised 5-7, currently at 9 months. I wouldn’t trust any of the sellers…

Aha, that’s why you are ordering extras that prolong the waiting time, hoping Skoda cancels your order 😉 or your company decides to buy something else as the car is still nowhere to be seen. At least our police dpt is well taken care of, ordinary people don’t matter. Used cars are a no go for me as well with all the scammers in our country. I keep my fingers crossed for all of us, sadly there is still plenty of us and new ppl keep on coming here, hard to keep track of everyone. And poor @Joss1733, just getting pushed back every Friday…

I hear you, at least I have some info, even though it still doesn’t mean my waiting time will be shorter than yours with all things considered. You still plan to stick with it and not cancelling?

I guess they are still receiving enough orders if they dare to act this way… I know there are problems in supply chains everywhere, but this should have been handled way better.

If the car has all the parts - well, they clearly stop after being built because there is something missing, but let’s hope there is some truth in words of your dealer. I think @Senaid has been waiting for quite a while with VIN number and someone else who I can’t remember at the moment (sorry mate), so they might be just speculations…

Welcome mate. Your experience is quite similar to mine, ordered beginning of August 21, wait time supposedly 5-7 months, got VIN last month, car built, waiting door panels (supposedly, who knows 🤷‍♀️), currently still scheduled for week 20 (just around the corner). But preparing myself for push backs to follow, just as some of you are already experiencing.

Here is my today’s update - delivery week remains week 20, car is built but still waiting for door panels. So no changes atm.

Wow, are they serious? This seriously affects the safety, someone might hit you from the back if you suddenly brake for no apparent reason…

I have a feeling that mine will also get stuck in this state - with VIN number and no sign of completion (even though planned for week 20, but we’ve seen now that Skoda has a different calendar or sense of time). Would be a nice birthday present next month though, but I might get disappointed.

Hi, that’s the same build as mine, was told 5-7 months when ordered beginning of August 21. Car has a VIN number but waiting for some parts (supposedly door panels), due for delivery week 20. Haven’t chased my dealer this week due holidays, next week we also have some school holidays and ppl will be away, but will check again after 04/05.

Were all the dealers so optimistic in March 2021?

I have a wireless charger as well as a part of Style package. But dealer only mentioned missing door panels. I wonder how they get these infos and how accurate they are.
