  1. Here are photos of my vRS in Mamba Green
  2. Hi guys, maybe for inspiration how the color really looks like. Here are some pics of mine beauty.
  3. Hi Guys, I have TSI DSG vRS for about 2 moths (bought it 6months old with 12kkm on the clock) and so far I have: Short jurneys over the town 20-24mpg (little bit more than I expected) Long jurneys on the highways with ACC speed set to 80-90mph around 43 (little less than I expected) Jurneys out of the town / not highways I got (when I really, really trying!) almost 50. Longterm avg consumption since we got the car I have aroud 37(60% town/ 30% highways / 10% country roads). So to sum it up, I am quite happy with the car fuel consumption, taking into account that I have almost 250hp and 370Nm of power. If someone order vRS Octavia, somehow needs to count with, that it will not have consuption as 1,0TSI 3-cylinder. And I would say, if you load your car, with luggage and people, the 1,0TSi will maybe have higher consumption than vRS. With vRS is every acceleration or overtaking pure joy and fun. The couple of mpg more is well spend for me My secondary (old) car is Honda Civic 2007 1,8vTec with 140hp and 170Nm and I have long term consuption around 39-40, so with the power upgrade, the fuel consumption/power increase ration is really good for me.
  4. @zorglub And I am thinking exactly other way around... because grey/white/black is so ordinary... Mamba will be probably (I hope!!) rare also in the future, and in that case will be much easier to sell it... But we are both guessing, so we will se. Mamba needs to be seen live, on photos it looks almost always bad.
  5. It depends what you expect / want. Our picking of color was something like this: We did not want White/Silver/Black car... too ordinary Red - nice, but it will completely hide the nice rear lamps and rear reflex under tailgate Blue Race - very nice color, but too declassed by Škoda. Its on all cars even the low-cost Fabias etc. Phoenix - very nice in sunny weather, on cloudy a little bit less. But same as blue - Škoda put it as "catalogue color" for fabia and karoq and is also available for octavia and kamiq, so I am expecting same situation as with blue. Mamba - This color you need to see in real life. From photos we did not like it. But dealer get one for us in showroom to look on and we love it on the first sight. There was no doubt what color to order. Even people who said from photos that is ugly or too extravagant are now saying its really nice car. It is star on every parking lot You will never overlook it anywhere
  6. @zetzet Oh thats unfortunate... But thank you for this info, it saved me from dissapoitment later on. But I have in mind, that in sport I would like to have something around 10-20% in sport, so in normal, if would be half its ok for me too. Thanks a lot.
  7. Hi all, I will "reopen" this topic. I have mine VRS Petrol for a 3 weeks and this fake noise driving me crazy. The long term solution is to buy OBD11 (not just for this) and turn it off in Normal mode and Lower the setting in Sport mode. But till I will do this, does have anyone some guide how to get fot the connector to disconnect it? I looked under the hood and there is no easy way how to do it without some dissasembly. And I would not want to break some clips during blind dissasembly.
  8. Yes The car is awesome. We have it in Mamba Green Estate and we love the car. The petrol engine is awesome, interior is stunning and driving the car is pure joy 😁
  9. Yes. About 7 mouths old. Maybe try to ask your dealer. Sometimes they just update sw with same version and it's working (I mean it works sometimes for other issues, dunno if will for this specific one). Or you can check owners manual, what's are the condition to be able to turn it on.
  10. I have it on. Truth is, that it was already set up as active from previous owner, but the function mean, that after the engine is turn of and you will open the door - seat will go all the way to rear. After going into the car and put ignition on, seats move to your position.
  11. Well, and I tought its just a prevention "just to be sure". It seems its real issue.
  12. Obviously original ones do not fit . Because MK4 hase new shape and style of the "rails" on the roof. Thats why you need to buy new ones for MK4. If you have some Thule or similar, you can only buy the attachment part. But the Original one has really great attachment system to car - only lever with safety lock, no tools/screwdriver needed.
  13. Hi, I was wondering too... Because they are looking really good. I found on CZ forum photo. https://forum.skodahome.cz/topic/154764-18”-kola-s-15-tsi/?do=findComment&comment=2569853
  14. The fire was really unfortunate... Especialy in situation, when Enyaq is stopped and Kamiq and Scala are limited. They can put all resources to Octavia and the are missing door panels. Real pity. But on Czech webs in interviews with Škoda managers was said, that restart of production of door panels in second location should happened in couple of weeks. So I am hoping, that till end of April they could manage it. I wanted to ask my dealership, if the build week was changed or not, but I am scared what would I hear, so I did not ask yet .
  15. 19 months is really insane. I remember, when my father ordered a cars (L&K OIIFL - 10weeks / L&K OIIIFL - 14weeks), those were fine days... I have vRS ordered from CW02/22 with planned build date CW40-44/22, but right now it seems quite as a sci-fi . Anyways, if I would deciding now, I don´t know if I would change anything. There is nowhere to "RUN". Because there is really not much of and alternatives for TSI Octy Estate vRS.
