Today I got fitted an Jetex Exhaust (cat back) fitted from Jabbasport. Sounds and looks the dogs danglies . SWMBO reckoned it sounded like it was 'blown', what does she know . Also met another briskoda member down there in for a re-map but forgot to ask your username.DOH!!! Anyway not sure if it does anything for performance but over the moon with result. Next is down pipe and sports cat. Better get some overtime in

I think it took about 2 weeks to get mine, fitted them yesterday. A REAL pain in the ar5e by yourself. Makesure you have a good drill and new drill bits (unlike me!!)

Possibly in the market to buy a normal octavia for SWMBO. At the local dealer they have a 1.4 Octavia, didn't know they did a 1.4, i'm quite keen on getting a diesel. going to look tomorrow. Any experience of the 1.4,1.6 petrol or 1.9 diesels. Most of the miles are around town, school run etc, and she drives like Arton Senna. Any help would be great

When me and the missus were first married we lived in a dodgy area but had no problems until we fell out with our neighbours. Then for a bout 6 months we had all sorts of crap happen, car vandalised 7 times, bricks thru the window 4 times, take-aways turning up, dodgy phonecalls, all while I was on nightshift. It got to the point where I HAD to do something. We knew it was them but couldn't prove it, I confronted the husband and he denied everything, obviously. One night I pretended to go to work but sneaked back in the house about an hour later. Early morning brick came thru front door window, I was ready and came streaming out and gave chase to a couple of peole running away, caught one and gave him a good slap (not proud of). Called police and they cautioned ME for assault!! unfukcin belivable!!!!. We sold our house a month later cheaper then it was worth just to get out of there. We now live in a slightly better area but i now have a camera , lights etc at the front,driveway and rear, and 2 big dogs. Scum still around but touch wood haven't had many problems, waiting for the local pub to empty now thou. I would gladly leave England but she wouldn't even move out of Peterborough!!!!

Some skoda dealers are struggling to get hold of the Vrs, see what they will give you. Demand is quite high for them, waiting list at my local dealer, no chance of even a test drive

Feel bit of a sad git, no other toys than my Vrs. Although the old man has a 1 year old 911 (non-turbo) Aprilla something(quite rare he tells me)BMW 330 clubsport,30 foot motorhome and a 924 race car ( I do use that, if it counts) and some off-road Kawaski jobbie. I have been thinking about something for trackdays, we'll see!!

I had the same choice, Accord type R or VRS, drove both and loved both. Insurance and running costs higher on Type R, more toys on VRS, similar speed. In the end , with 3 kids needed extra space etc. Totally and completely over the moon with the VRS (plus had a little play with the Accord and left him!!)

Has anyone heard about or bought/used MS Topline sport springs. Some for sale on Ebay, quite cheap. Genuine Skoda parts apparently. Are they crap and not worth buying, I've got no idea!!!!!!!!!!
