It's still a year earlier though and shows an earlier software version (i assume thats what the SW number is) of SW4101. Mine was a 2018 with SW4402. Don't suppose you know if thats likely to work?

Hello! Just wanted to say thanks for the guide and pass on a few other bits that came up when I fitted a heated wheel to my superb. I had a question from someone else fitting this that ran in to these issues so I thought it might help someone else. First off, and probably goes without saying, but the superb needs a different clock spring - part 5Q0953569B. Secondly, don't buy a second hand clock spring from a different model - I got one from a VW passat, same part number. Turns out the passat spring is hard coded to the car, so won't accept the superb coding no matter what you do. This is an issue as the cruise control is on the steering wheel in the passat and on a seperate stick in the superb. Finally - a new clock spring needs to be coded else your cruise control (and other bits such as KESSY) won't work. This might be obvious to some but not to me and had me stumped for a while! make sure you do a scan with VCDS or similar before you change the spring and copy the coding exactly to the new spring. Some bits such at the steering wheel buttons won't need it, but cruise control and some others do. Hope this helps someone!

Hey! Anyone else had issues with changing the climate control panel? My initial version was a 3V0907044DA (manufactured 2018) and managed to get my hands on an older 3V0907044AJ from a 2015. The panels look a little different but otherwise seem to be a good match (the new one is a matt black instead of the piano gloss but after another week of wiping fingerprints from it I was happy for the change!). Anyway managed to get it installed and coded with VCDS with the original coding but now it won't show up on the infotainment screen - just shows off and won't pop up when pressing the "settings" button. Anyone else had this issue? Any ideas on a fix?

Hello from (not so) sunny Yorkshire. I'm a long time reader but fairly new to posting everything. Current car is a 2018 Superb Sportline 190PS TDI in the meteor/steel grey and I've spent a bit of time adding some basics such as the front parking sensors, heated steering wheel, rear camera and I'm currently part way through adding a heated windscreen (and will then look at the A5 camera), side assist and DCC.
