Scala 1.0 tsi, 81 kW, 6 speed manual slight vibration of the clutch pedal
rev hang is the problem it causes it while driving if you can and feel safebplace the hand on the cluthch pedal and press it for 1 cm....than you will feel the vibration very strong....thankfully our feet wearing shoes are not do sensible vibration + very hard starting from stand still without hickups = worse than on previozs models/years cars with 1.0 tsi well to be sincere....1.0 tsi dsg feels even worse at town trsffic drive....because it pushes engine to be on very low revs....for 1.0 tsi to low

Scala 1.0 tsi, 81 kW, 6 speed manual slight vibration of the clutch pedal
it is not going worse please if you will have new info from another skoda dealer - let me/us know. Thank you. overall clutch pedal work - that vibration and moving from stand steel fluidly is very chalenging....polo 1.0 tsi from 2019. does it better....from cca 2022 til know something is wrong with clutch pedal/bushings and master)slave cylibder of the clutch.....they were better before...sadly cars are worse than before but to tell you the trurh.....rev hang is worser than before....if it would be no dreadfull rev hang the clutch pedal wpuldnt vibrate.....all this 1.0 tsi cars before 2022 didnt have this rev hang (aKa to slow fadinf revs once the gas pedal isnt engaged - revs drop to slow) if there would not be rev hang....the clutch wpuldnt vibrate because the revs would drop fast below 2.000 rpms when changing gears belive me, i tried most if the 1.0 tsi cars before and know.....if we are lucky this vibration will not be felt on something else please let me know the info from another dealer...Thnx

Scala 1.0 tsi, 81 kW, 6 speed manual slight vibration of the clutch pedal
12.000 km always the same very irritating i drove rapid 2018, polo 2019, tcross 2021....all with 1.0 tsi and they dont have this problem if i knew newer models with 1.0 tsi have this problem i wouldnt buy it this is so annoying from day one i will never buy any new VAG model again had problems with new tiguan, this skoda has crap clutch vibration and crap infotainment i also drove new skida octavia - very disappointed with the car....it is very refgular, boring and not better then previozs generations of octavia and maintenance for skoda in official services is getting very expensive also colour/lack on new skodas and vws is very poor and easily scratches, and it is very thin

Scala 1.0 110 PS Kangerooing 6 speed manual
you can start by lifting the foot of the pedal in 1. gear and the car will start going withot giving gas, and then to change in 2. gear or pay more attention when to press gas pedal when starting in 1. gear there will be less kangarooing once the egine is warm and if you press gas pedal starting in 1. gear a little bit after you have lifted your foot from the clutch pedal - it needs more time space from lifting of the cluch and pressing the gas otherwise it is not possible to start fast from the first gear unless you want the clutch to be slipping wich will cause wear of the clutch 1.0 tsi manual is not so smooth in start-stop or bumper to bumper drive - with cars driven before with 1.0 tsi I have not experienced it, but with scala this is a problem - very long lenght of the cluch pedal doesnt help once it is in the 2. gear ito goes like it should be and it is from the day 1 the third gear is very good, I can drive around the city (if not stopping) in the 3. gear, but starting from the standstill is always tricky, and the vibration of the clutch pedal when releasing it is very annoying

Scala 1.0 tsi, 81 kW, 6 speed manual slight vibration of the clutch pedal
Its always the same. On rapid i didnt feel it my sister has it. Mine isvis also september 2023. From cca noveđber that year they something changed in production of the clutch ( pump) but i didnt had chance to try snother newer scala to test it. Clutch, firts to second gear and starting to move with more speed/gas (faster) isbodd on this car. It is so annoying

Scala 1.0 tsi, 81 kW, 6 speed manual slight vibration of the clutch pedal
Everything is the same. Now on 9.590 km What year/month is your Scala? Thisbis the only thing that really annoys me about thisbcsr. I would never have it bought it if i knew that before

Wiper relay clicking.
it is clicking also when you change gear from 2. to 3. or 4. to 3. you can hear slight sound (clunk) - it is more hearable than in my 2009. Golf simply because Scala is more silent car (silent engine) I have a problem because I have a god hearing.....and I can hear all sort of things. It is much better for me to drive noisier car (tyre noise, engine noise) because those thiny sounds disapear that way I love Skoda, but I must say.....Scala is a cheap car with cheap design, cheaply build and very borring.....it is my last Skoda/Vw car for sure If it wasnt bought new last year I would sell it aleady. This way I hope nothing goes wrong with it (I doubt it) and perhaps it will last cca 5 years and cca 45.000 km in my hands before selling it

steering wheel buttons sometimes doesn`t response
after 5 and a half months it happened again - until I switch off the engine buttons (on the right spoke 2 on the bottom) didnt resposne....after switch off/on the engin everything is ok ,ust be some sort of glitch/gremlin in electronics (is is not the only one in my car)

Software Update available for Bolero?
do you all update software on-air or how do you do it? from when new (11/2023) my car is on 1790 software and I didnt get on infotainment notification about the update to perform it by myself via infotainment on my previos car (tiguan my 2022) I did get notifications about the update via air and I have done it twice, but on Scala there is no update on my infotainment maybe that is why I randomly get "component protection active" message on infotainment (once a week)
-
Active component protection
in past 2 days, when I start the car - active omponent protection + rear camera not available and than after 1-2 minutes infotainment reboots himself and then it is all ok and this happens every cca 14 days only on start-up of the car weird I think it is issue something between bluetooth + skoda connect application + cars battery i didnt contact skoda dealer/service because they (as I read elswhere on Internet) are helpless ****ty product I guess....lets drive it for copule of years and than sell it - thats the only way to go dissapointed with Tiguan 2022. žDissapointed with Scala 2023. Sattisfied with Golf 2009. I will never buy VAG car again

"Opening and Closing" menu missing
it is not that its not available, it is just that xou cannot press on that function by factory settings I think it is nothing to do with 12 battery
-
Active component protection
Thank you. It happens to me every 14 days....today it wouldnt stop until i shut of the car twice....quality of todays products is very poor.... And climate control isbon infotainment so couldnt stop the blowing...
-
Active component protection
Thnx for such a quick reply What do you mean by "head unit" - is it infotainment screen or something else?
-
Active component protection
Have you resolved it?

So Scala owners, what do you think to your car ?
I know. Special tools and special long procedure. In my country not so skilled because there is not many 1.5 tsi.... I am satisfied with 1.0 tsi except some vibrations felt on clutch pedal when changing gears. And Scala gives me enough comfort, Tiguan was not needed at all as far as regards my need for car
-
So Scala owners, what do you think to your car ?
On 1.5 tsi they changed me cam belt within 15.000 km because of suspected fault of something else.....which in the end wasnt faulty....after that i have sold the car because knowing what it takes to change cam belt on this engine and knowing they are not so skilled to do it on 1.5 act engine because in my country people mostly drive diesels....i didnt find/feel my car reliable....sold it right away after the change....

So Scala owners, what do you think to your car ?
150 tmiles or how many years is the interval for changing time belt? Thnx

So Scala owners, what do you think to your car ?
dacia compared to skoda is rubbish, cheap car with smelly interior (always smell of plastics and glue in the sun) skoda scala is ok car with ok price dacia is ****ty car too exoensive for what you get tried different dacia models and they are not even close to skoda I am not a fan of newer skoda models, but dacia (I frove sandero/duster/jogger) and skoda are not comparble the thing that I made comparisson betwen scala and dacia (all models) is because scala as rapis previously was, is a budget model, most value for money model I drove rapid - it is a good car to me Scala is better, but it is compared to new fabia cheap model, budget model - not in sense of quality build, or materials used, but ina sense of design and what it is supposed to be Scala is supposed to be on a platform of polo battling with golf or other models like golf And it does it in a ok way - it is not narrow as rapid which was narrow as fabia, but dimensions are similar or better than golf.....but the materials in golf are better, suspension in golf is more mature etc. Value for money = scala dacia cannot be any value to be precise i was driving all fabia models, rapid, scala, kamiq, and all golf models except golf mark1 scala give a lot to the user because it is bigger than fabia, it is more cheaper and slight bigger than kamiq, it is spacious inside as golf or slightly more with bigger boot and if configured well with 1.0 tsi (wich vibrates) it can cost 21-22 tEUR same engine, same equipment golf 8 is around 26-27 tEUR and dacia jogger (not hybrid) in my country would be around 21 tEUR when driving jogger i feel like i am in the privious century - narrow as sandero, 2. seat row higher so you watch in front of self in a roof, with not so many leg space in 2. row, smell of plastics/glue, stickers on the cars side and not bumpers etc. I drpove duster 1.5 dci 4x4 2 weeks ago - rubbish, boring, like tractor too be more objective I mus say that not many cars can give me smile on my face because I often dont find in them why are they so expensive and being previous motorcycle rider - speed, acceleration and cornering is not what I look for when driving "civilian" cars....the car rarely takes my attention while few years back I did the same streets at 2x or even 4x of speed that I drive with my car. Wanting to stay alive nowadays I drive........only Scala
-
So Scala owners, what do you think to your car ?
cheap car way better than any dacia has enough of everything that everybody need, and it should be the most people get from the car because other things in car are or useless or just giving some looks and subjective feel of no nedded comfor if choosen wiseley scala wont cost too much nad will serve some time vibrations, infotainment glitches and consumption for 1.0, and sound dampening its not so good but now while it is redisigned it lost the front looks that it had and looks like nothing special if comparedt (regardin size and capabilities) with golf.....golf is way much better car that costs (where I live ) around 25% more than scala it is funny how I dont find suspension good like on others skodas, but it is comfortable whicj I couldnt say for other skodas I cannot find why people buy more Kamiqs then Scalas, because Scala beats Kamiq in every aspect.....Kamiq is smaller inside and in boot, it looks awfull and it is more expensier than Scala

Software Update available for Bolero?
I guess there is such a distinction between vw and skoda our dealers/services are even worse then ypurs - if it isn completly broken they dont change it or dont have remedy for problems or can do much worser the things that used to work - completly ruined my Tiguan because of the simple question that I have asked regarding behavior of dsg so let say that I adapt to the car and dont bodder about minor glitches like every now and than randomly shutting infotainment buy itself....... didnt know that exists forum specilalized only for skoda scala - i will chec it out on internet. Thnx for raccomandation. having had pleasure to drive fabia I (1.5 mpi, 1.9 tdi) i miss that oldschool type of driving and interffering with the car.....so I have got myself giolf 6 without start/stop, lane assist, front assist, emergency braking and other for me fullish nowadays equipment of the cars....as much as I like cars....this new ones drive me crazy (tiguan, golf 8, clio 5.....all that I drove had glitches and troubles man couldnt belive brand new car could have...) So, long story short - if I want to get infotainment updated it is almost a rule to go to the skoda workshop and let them updated the infotainment system (as they did before picking up the car when brad new)

Software Update available for Bolero?
I see that it regards update of MAP-s, GPS.....i was wondering about updating the inotainment system ....upgrading to the another level my phone is connected via bluetooth and it works but system is: NIB3_v1.1.27 Hardver: 120 Softver: 1790 (car was bought in november 2023.) i didnt use androit auto/carplay/mirror link because I cannot connect to it via bluetooth as I could on Tiguan....my phone is connected only for calling somebody in tiguan this software No. was updated by itself ("via air") - on infotainment screen I would get notification that the update is prepared, keep engine running while stationary and it would update by itself) does "Bolero" have an option to be updated via air or it could be done only via usb stick (I wont do it via usb stick because I am not comfortable to do it by myself) so, is there a mode to do actualisation of software on scala as on Tiguan? just by pressing something on the infotainment screen and waiting? I ask this questions because every now aand than (every 14 days) I have some glitches with infotainment system that last for few seconds or a minute (rear camera non available, infotainment screen doesnt open right away or it says - protection of the components...)

Software Update available for Bolero?
I had a vw tiguan 2022. and the infotainment system updated by himself - he would give e information that he needs to update and to keep engine running while stationary as long as the update finishes and i did updates 2 times while I jhad this car (for a year) In scala I dont see that the infotainment system update by himself - is it neccessary to update it in the dealership/repair shop only?
