Received the B&O. Unfortunately did fit at all. Way bigger than the Kodiaq Canton. Part below fit but it was to high to close the floor. So what I did, removed the speaker from the old one and placed the B7O woofer inside. Had to do some modification to fit. The magnet is way bigger as you see. But my enclosure is the same still. Not that big improvement yet, I will out some deadening inside the box also. I think I will need to go with a high low convertor and place a 10" woofer with amp.

I see it's mid bass, all time the time is was in front of me I've been looking and found some options. - Dayton Audio MB620-8 - Dayton Audio Designer DSA175-8 - Dayton Audio DC160-8 Bass-midwoofer - Taramp's 6.5" MB 400s - Taramp's 6.5" FH 300s 8 Ohms etc. I've contacted the Dayton distributor here to see what they would advise.

I'm only searching for more deeper bass but should be clean and punchy. The level of volume is not interesting for me. Just want more body. I'm also looking for replacement of the front mid drivers but the are 8 Ohms, so they are difficult to find. If you know any? Step further would be placing the Match 10UP DSP behind the Canton amp, then all can be replaced and even new sub. Looking at the JL Audio then. But first I will start with the B&O Looking forward to installing it.

This picture is not mine but it's the same. No tools on top. So should fit. Thanks. I just finished with deadening the space below and the wheel itself I've tested what lot of people had with the Octavia that the phase/polarity switch would result in better bass. But with the Kodiaq it was wired correct and reversing did no do the trick. So maybe I'm planning to upgrade everything with a dsp amp but first I will try this.

Hi. I want to upgrade also. So you installed a new dsp amp, new front speaker and sub with amp. How did you do the coding in obd? did you use the standard cables? And put a high low convertor? thanks koen

Hi, I have a Kodiaq with canton and same problem/challenge. So I will place a sub box with the JBL. So I can take the positive from left and negative from right the connector and run it to the new sub? Which wires are the right ones to use? and if I would place and extra with high low convertor just use the same two wires?

Yes.. turned out I have the unit without DAB after all. So only way is to swap it. But I use CarPlay so I use digital radio high res now. That sounds perfect.

I want to replace the standard speaker woofer and tweeter. The Octavia has 2 pin small connector. Is there a adapter for it?

normal there is a button FM on the left at the bottom. And there I could select DAB. This menu is complete gone, so no FM is showing because its the only thing that is active. I think I will need to check the FEC/SWAP codes if its enabled. I will do this tomorrow.

Hi, I bought the Octavia combi 1.4 TSI 2017 with Amundsen. DAB was available. I did a reset of the unit to get rid of all the phone connection etc. Reset was successful but the DAB menu was gone. Only FM selectable. I've updated to 0480 FW but that didn't help. Anyone idea how to get DAB back?

Hi, Just bought the car. So wanted to reset everything and update to latest firmware. Especially that now the DAB is gone. It was there when I bought it. On my way home I did a factory reset of the unit and now DAB is gone.

Hi, I own the 5Q0 035 864 - MIB2 Skoda Amundsen with SW Train MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0468T. I just bought it. I reset the unit to factory but now my DAB radio is not showing anymore, only FM. Can I upgrade this unit to get it back? And is there an update available? thanks
