So an update from me, I finally got a reply from my supplier and after a few back and forths they have said I can post back the module and they will 'sit on it till they get a car in that they can test it on'. Not too happy with that option, so I've simply ripped out the module and 'hey presto', no faults. Took it for a test drive and my cruise control and front assist work perfectly. Im going to take a few videos with it in and out and send it to them to prove its a module issue and not wiring. Fingers crossed I get a solution soon. Does anyone actually know what programing the tow bar installers do? There wasnt a local westfalia installer, so I've done the whole install myself and was trying to code with a VCDS, but I couldnt even get the module to communicate on the bus. Have you had any luck with your VCDS scan?

Im trying to code mine using a VCDS, should i be taking it to a westfalia specialist then?

Thanks @Jakester, Cheers for the information. I purchased my kit through Australiatowbars.com.au and fitted it all myself. Ill shoot them an email and see if they might be able to send me out a new module.

Carlston; Would you know what coil springs would fit in the back of a 2017 MY18 140TDI. Mine have slumped but Skoda wont warranty them (within spec apparently). I have recently fitted a towbar and will be towing a braked trailer up to 2000 kg. Am hopeing not to compromise too much on handling, but it is feeling a bit lose on the front end with towing an empty trailer weighing in at about 350kg.

Globalste, I fitted it all myself and have tried the coding. its a 2017 MY18 TDI. Any idea on the coding that I should be doing? getting an appointment in a shop at the moment is impossible. Ive put a trailer on the car and everything trailer wise is working. just all the other errors when I have the VCDS hooked up, and the ACC / Front assist error when Im driving.

Hi Trojax01, how did you go getting the errors reset? I have just done mine with a Westfalia controller, towbar and harness and had a similar raft of errors pop up. I've taken the car for a 15min drive and most of the errors on the dash reset (except ACC and front assist), but when I plug in my VCDS all the errors are still there and clearing them does nothing.
