  1. I upgraded using a USB-drive to 48/2024, and it displayed 24.6 at that point. That is until a day or two ago, when it suddenly started to display 24.10 instead... Confusing... 😄
  2. Well, all of a sudden when starting the car like the 10th time, nav database is upgraded. Though it doesn't say 24.48, instead 24.6 However this is a huge leap forward 🥳 Also noticed that smaller updates were received and installed this time. So my solution was to update MIB3 to 330, then download the update for nav 24.48 from Skoda. Thanks to this great forum and it's contributors 🙌
  3. Though able to update MIB3 to 330, the maps still don't update to 2448, still stuck at 2011. Maybe I'm just not patient enough. Drove around for 25mins with USB in, maybe need more like 1h...? Or is there any update between that needs to be done? I'm so tired of Skodas Head Unit. I've paid for map updates, online, everything and in the end I'm stuck to downloading files manually. Feels like I've paid for nothing and Skoda supports answers are to pay even more to dealer for updates and troubleshoting and that they never heard of such issues... 🙄
  4. You need 308 first. I did exactly the same yesterday. Cant go from 306->330, need 308 first.
  5. Anyone knows if there is any change log / release notes for the versions? I went from 270 to 330 and have noticed two things: 1. Map display in drivers display seems to be retained (earlier it was reset to navigation instructions instead over night) 2. Fewer icons in menu of headunit, though I don't now whats removed. A part from this I'm hoping on fewer sound dropouts.
  6. Thanks, I do have 330, however 306 isn't directly upgradable to it. Need 308 first.... I will do that today, then 330, could have gone directly from 270->308.... 🤪
  7. I'm happy to have managed to update to 306 at the moment. Waiting to get 330 and will continue updating... Maybe this will also solve some other issues like app-car-connectivity, audio droputs etc that Skoda support and service denies all knowledge of 😅
  8. thanks! I have a really old version. Really disappointed on Skoda reseller and service. Bought the car 2023. I expect them to have updated everything, appearently not. My car is on 270! So I downloaded 308 and put it on stick. However for any one else in the same frustration: I didn't unpack "Meta" and "Data" folders correctly to root of stick and list of devices was empty in engineering mode. Moving parts of "Meta" folder to root revealed that the car only displays "device" if Meta folder with contents is on root of stick. So right now I'm unpacking everything to root and retry the update. Plan is then to upgrade to 330 and finally retry the maps update process...
  9. ...also: Should there be any indication that update is in progress? I had the USB-stick in the front USB-C connector for 2x1hrs during drive but nothing happens.... Tried also while parking with ignition on. Really hard to understand this update process.... One information says it's online and autoupdating, another that You should connect to Wifi, a third to do it offline... Really confusing... 🤔
  10. I'm also experiencing the same issue. Mine is 20.11 and doesn't update OTA and I'm also not able to update through exFat Kingston 64GB USB-C stick... I've tried following the instructions here: https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/Download/Map-updates-mib3.pdf Downloaded the OI_P119_EU_202425_Offline_Update and followed instructions in the PDF. (Just now I noticed there is a newer version OI_P129_EU_202448_Offline_Update.zip, will try that one as well) But just to clarify: Within the ZIP-file there is one folder containing all the MIB31....-folders. Should that folder be copied to the root of USB-stick, or should the contents of that folder (all the MIB31....-folders) be copied to the root of the USB-stick? (As I understand the PDF the contents, not the folder, should be copied to root but as that doesn't seem to work I just want to make sure...)
  11. Nope, there are similar reports for other like VW. I've linked earlier to AA-forum where this is discussed. But to be honest I've had issues with handover between my prior Toyota HF and Buds for my S22 Ultra as well... so actually I'm more suspecting the Phone Hardware or software.
  12. Yeah, and no point in resetting phone, deleting cache... The issue persists. Whether using BT only or AA in conjuction 🤯
  13. It seems that the majority of people having this specific issue are Samsung S22 users. In my case a Ultra. Samsung answer has been upsetting some folks: "we can't guarantee comparability for other BT devices" Completely disregarding that other phones seems to work... Hopefully there will be a fix from Samsung rather then from Google or Skoda.... 🤷‍♂️
  14. Interesting! While that might be a workaround for some, I believe it isn't for me as it would disable remote operation of charging, climate etc, right? I'm actually thinking about buying a new phone... 🤯
  15. The apps are all updated as well and I regularly check Google Play/Galaxy Store. I'll try that suggestion with engineering. Please be advised this might be a AA more then a Car/Phone, see the AA forum post here: https://support.google.com/androidauto/thread/213805120/hands-free-phone-disconnect?hl=en
