  1. So for the cars produced in Q4/2019 AND Q1/2020, the navigation is a FEC code (00071c00), you gotta find the TPI somewhere with the VIN and the unique code provided by the VAG Group. So if you are having 0156 already, you cannot update to 0156 again... You must install a 02xx software ( don't know the right version for you ). There are some other TPIs that are guiding you through the required software versions which you have to install and also to install the Nav script.
  2. Hi, why are you looking after this software version? The very first MIB3 units for Skoda, launched in Q4/2019 and Q1/2020, were released with this version.
  3. Hey, what is the format for your USB Stick? Is it exFAT or NTFS or FAT32? Also, you're using a USB stick which is having a USB-C connector directly or are you using an older USB stick with an USB-C adapter?
  4. Hey, I am looking to swap my MIB3 unit with a SH MIB3 unit due to corrupt maps that cannot be fixed. Current unit OEM code: 3V0 035 816 B ( PREH unit ) I noticed the following units have been installed on several other models as well ( PREH units as well ): 3V0 035 816 [A | B | C | D | E | F | G | H | G | K | L | M | N | O | P | Q] 3V0 035 820 [A | B | C | D | E | F | G | H | G | K | L | M | N | O | P | Q] I have 2 questions: Unit having OEM code starting with 3V0 035 820 are compatible with my car as well? Newer units (mostly starting from the letter H) are JOYNEXT units. Are they compatible or I should stick with whatever PREH unit I can get? Thanks in advance!
  5. Hi Gisco, So your suggestion is to have the unit replaced if I understand correctly? Also, what is the thing with this "OCU", is this the cause why the maps are stuck to 23.6 on my unit? Do you think my OCU could be faulty? It's a bit frustrating because all the other things are working really well, without any other issues. I have read topics with people saying they are having an "infinite loading" issue, or they can't become the primary users or the Care Connect is not fully working. For me, it's just the maps that are broken, nothing else.
  6. Hi mate, Yes, I am the main user. Care Connect working fine, actually everything else is working fine, just the maps are broken.

Hello @Rainesh and everyone, I will be pleased if you could help with a piece of advice about a problem that I have with my MIB3 unit from a Skoda Superb iV MY2020. So, I'm seeing 2 cities from Cyprus (always same 2 cities) in random places everywhere on the maps, and they appear mostly when I zoom out. Maps are stuck to 23.6. Tried with offline update via USB, also with Infotainment Online, no change, no new road appeared, nothing. Swap codes are looking good, the 00071c00 appears to be installed and valid. While navigating throughout other countries, maps are looking.. not great, not terrible, however, navigating through Cyprus is a total mess (please see the attached picture). The unit was updated by dealer from 0156 -> 0278 -> 0308 -> 0330 by dealership. OCU also updated. I managed to update to 0332 recently, update ended successfully and the emmc ended with status "New", however, nothing changed on the maps. Connected with ODIS, tried to format the Navigation Data Bank, but every time I tried to start the operation, it would just return "Incorrect Results" as the outcome and won't do anything. Do you guys think there is anything that could be done further at this point or the maps will be "bricked" forever on this unit? Regards, Alex
  8. Hey, I have a Superb iV from 2020 and my MIB3 unit was updated from 0156 -> 0278 -> 0308 -> 0330 by the dealership in Germany. OCU also updated. I'm having a problem with the maps, I'm seeing 2 cities from Cyprus (always same 2 cities: Limassol and Nicosia) in random places everywhere on the map, and they appear mostly when I zoom out. Maps are stuck to 23.6. Tried with offline update via USB, but also with Infotainment Online, no change, no new road appeared, nothing. Swap codes are looking good, the 00071c00 appears to be installed and valid. Is there anything that could be done further at this point or this unit is "bricked" forever? Thanks a lot!
  9. Hello, I have a Skoda Superb 3 PHEV (MY2020) with a DSG DQ400E gearbox. It has about 38500 km and I read that it is recommended to do an DSG oil change every 60000 km or 5 years. Today, I have asked a local dealership for an estimated cost for this maintenance, and I was surprised to see they're going to charge me for an oil filter change (OEM code: 0GC325183D). From my research, I understand that the oil filter can be changed only if you actually take out the gearbox and the manufacturer recommends to do that only if there are other problems with the gearbox. Can you please share some specific details about how the DSG oil change should be done for this gearbox? I'm really afraid at this point to take my car to a dealership without actually knowing and confirming if what they're going to do is actually safe or not.
  10. Hey, I've been waiting literally for months with the USB stick connected in every journey, and the maps are not updating. I got a spare USB Type-C Stick and don't really use it so it's been connected to the car since Oct/Nov 2024 when I had my very first attempts to update the maps.
  11. Hi folks, I bought a Superb 3 iV MY2020 last year and I got it with SW 0330 already installed. Everything is working good, except for some issues with the maps: 1. Maps are stuck on 23.6 - can't get them updated neither with Infotainment Online Subscription nor with Offline Update via USB Stick 2. Some maps are completely missing for couple Eastern Europe countries ( ex. Hungary, Serbia ) 3. Various cities from Cyprus appear when driving in Romanian countryside areas ( please see second and third photo ) My question is: can I do anything at this point to solve this issue or my MIB3 unit is bricked? Please see the first photo with the update history.
  12. Hey folks, I have a Superb iV 2020 L&K with "Sound System" setup ( not CANTON ... ). It's a bit better than the standard sound setup (10 speakers), however, I am missing a subwoofer. I noticed that I have some space available under the front passenger seat and I was thinking if I could fit a pre-amplified subwoofer there. However, I'm not sure if that would fit well along the other speakers and the amplifier that is under driver's seat ( I have attached a photo with the amp part code ). Has anyone tried to install this kind of subwoofer? Can it mess with the existing amplifier? I don't have much knowledge about this stuff. Thanks!
  13. Hey folks! I'm gonna have to do the annual maintenance on my Superb iV. I've got a note with the previous oil that was used (Volkswagen Original IV 0W-20). However, I am trying to get the OEM products for the air & oil filters. Does anyone know the specific codes for these parts or has any suggestion for good quality filters? I have done a quick research and I found several codes for the oil filter: 1. 04E 115 561 AC 2. 04E 115 561H Both look pretty much the same, however, I'm not sure which one truly fits. Thanks.
  14. That might be the best option, however that grille was very difficult to be pulled out at least in my case, and that plastic can snap if it bends too much. I would recommend option nr. 3 on my list from prev comment if OP is struggling with the grille.
  15. Hey! I had to replace one of the cornering lights due to condensation on my Superb. Basically you have 3 options: 1. Remove that piece of grille that surrounds the fog lamp and try to adjust it this way -> best option, but I could not done that, was IMPOSSIBLE to take out that piece of grille without breaking it since... well... it's plastic... 2. Remove the whole front bumper and you get full access to the fog lamp -> might involve too much effort, not recommended in my opinion! 3. Remove the wheel + wheel hull and access the fog lamp from behind ( you'll need an elevator for that ) -> you'll have enough access to replace or adjust the fog lamp with minimal effort in my opinion. Good luck!
