Updating firmware of Bolero / Amundsen without SD-card

Hi there!

I just got myself a used Skoda Fabia MK3 2018.

I wanted to look into updating the firmware of the headunit, but I can't seem to find any SD-card slot or anything at all inside the glove box on this one. It does not have a nav button either.

How can I update? Can I enable nav? What else is possible with my unit?

These are the details:

Software Train: MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0456T

SW MU: 0456

Art nbr: 5Q0035840C

Hardware: H41

SD card slot is available inside glove box, vertically, next to the display.

I thought it would be useful to create this separate topic and collate information as now Infotainment Software Version 1969 is out in the wild I imagine user interest will increase. Database is maintained by Phonostar.de and Škoda doesn't hide that but one of their answer sounded similar to . . . I've just had the bad luck of getting a puncture that was not safely repairable in my Subaru's winter tyres, which as it's permanently in 4x4 means I had to replace all four tyres. Fortunately, I had the summers to put on, it's the end of March, and the winters were ageing anyway (a bit like me!). Got me thinking. My wife has a Karoq 4x4. I've just had a windscreen cracked - the second time in less than six months of owning my Superb. Both times it was a stone chip on a motorway, nothing obvious to be throwing up stones, not near a bridge. Apart from one easily repaired chip, I don't think I've ever had a windscreen crack in upwards of 500,000 miles in various cars. Is this just bad luck or is there some "feature" that makes the windscreen more vulnerable in the current generation?

Hi all, I've had my mk4.5 Octavia vRS for almost 3 weeks and while I find it to be a great car overall, there's some things that are a bit annoying. Lane assist: I understand what it's trying to do but the implementation seems flawed so it's a good thing it's easy to switch off. I had forgotten to turn it off today though and while driving down a road which is wide enough for two cars but only if you stick to the edge of the road, the lane assist kept trying to push me closer to the centre.
