  3. Oh eye... great cars. This is my 5th , and by far the best i've owned...... and it was only 300 notes. Tested till Dec, just had 460 quid spent on new brakes, a service 1/2 a tank of fuel, complete tool kit. etc Chuffed to bits I am
  4. I bought this off our local Vicker on Sunday. It's a 1984 900 GLs Auto Plan's inclued a T16s engine transplant, but keep it looking bogo on the outside Apart from a sagging headlining, it's as good as a classic 900 gets. Can't wait to get my hand mucky I'll take some picks of my own over the weekend
  5. I can't believe how long I watched that for before realising it was on a loop!! I think i've gone mad! :smashfrea

  12. Just remove your number-plate lamps (as if to change a bulb) and you'll spot it
  13. Mine did the same, ended uo changing the door lock- RCL receiver is built into it if IRC
  14. My boot is rusty underneeth the number plate lights,I only found it when a bulb went. I think most owners will find rust in this spot tho TBO, buy thr time you find it, it's to late.
  15. No idea :( I think i've herd that these are a week point anyway. It'll be most likley that the numpteys that smashed the window did it, as there will have been so much force on the glass, it's all over the boot aswell, and the seats were up!
  16. My 51 plate fabia Comfort had it's radio nicked yesterday, be meens of them putting a spanner through the pass' door glass. I'm fuming over it as my Dad (who borrowed the car) left the face plate on the radio, and some tw#t tuck advantage of this and f't my car car up! Autowindscreens have been out today a replaced the glass, BUT say that one of the plastic pegs (?) that hold the glass up is brocken, so the window won't stay up. Does anyone no if I can buy 1 of these pegs on there own, ot am I going to have to buy the whole reg'? If I can get one, is it the same on a Polo? As I no longer live closser to a VW dealer, this would be easyer. Is it a DIY job? Thanks, let's vote for them to bring back hanging!
  17. Nice looking li'll car, i'd have one of those And BTW...............Ford are using the Fiat platform, not the other way round
  18. An odd answer perhaps, but I don't regret buying a 'Skoda', but I do regret buying an 8v Fabia, when I could have had a Octaiva mk1 1.8T SLX for the same money :(
