  1. Yes, label says it is 22241 compliant. I was warned of usage of passed expired/best before date might cause flaking and a residue that might clog the system. If anyone has any feedback, more than appreciated. Cheers. Strangely enough, a lucky friend of mine has a Koleos MY19 with no AdBlu from the factory. In PSA cars they had a common ventilation valve/cap problem which corrupted the whole system. I don’t mind pouring some every 4-5kkm as long as doesn’t fail.

  3. DCC can impact how fluid or immediate your steering and suspension would react in terms of comfort not sure of stability. I always drive in Comfort and I like both soft suspension and variable steering effort based on speed. I live in a town at 700m altitude and 4 winter tyres are a must for me.
  4. My Skoda (Essentials) app has the manuals for the car that you register the VIN for.
  5. Thanks all. Could I safely assume that after removing the silica bag I can drive for a year? Would G13 deteriorate that quickly? I would eventually upgrade to G12evo, but plan to do it on my next oil change at 52-ish k km.
  6. How could we prevent this from happening? Is it low quality AdBlue? Where I live OEM AdBlue retails for 35-40EUR/10L. I cannot justify that and buy Polish Hico for 12EUR/10L from a renowned dealer.
  7. How much time could the G13 last before it needs replacement?
  8. Mine came with a 205/55/16 on a steel rim, despite having the 235/45/18 fitted as standard on my L&K.
  9. L&K I think ticks all the boxes for smooth ride with DCC, cruise and distance with ACC, Canton music is a step up from the basic music and ventilated and heated leather seats keep me comfortable on 4+hour drives. My kids love the heated back seats too.
  10. This coil is the glow plugs relay block - normally would need a diagnostics to determine better.
  11. I find the wireless charger helpful as I use the phone via BT for Spotify and calls. It does heat up quite a bit but keeps my battery topped up on 4+hour drives. I could use some tips for cooling - even thought of Peltier elements or similar?
  12. I found out my factory fitted D3S were quite tired and fitting fresh ones, same as OEM, made an improvement. Could be yours are exhausted too and need replacing. Might as well upgrade to laser night breakers but for me the OEM does a decent job.
  13. If it has "Auto" position on the beam switch, it should give the warning to switch to dipped beam. I was switching to Off on purpose in the garage and found out it does that. It always sits in Auto. Mine is a MY19, manufactured in August 2018.
  14. My average mpg is 47 which is equal to 6l/100km. Last 900kms were highway with 81mph 130kmh.
  15. Rear bearings have been known as potential weakness however had been reportedly changed within warranty period.
  16. How come it’s such a pain to make sure the strainer is cleaned? Only specific shops would do that and only if you ask specifically for that job including the bill of materials required.
  17. None of the authorised shops around here have a standard procedure for the strainer cleaning. Just the fluid change.
  18. Yes. Thank you. What I meant was doing the cleaning service before pouring the new fluid :). Have you heard if facelift superbs could have been Haldex 6?
  19. You can clearly see the gunk that gradually cause the motor to overheat. So every 3 years or 30k the filter element/sift must be cleaned before changing the fluid.
  20. Haldex 5 was serviced with new oil, o-rings, bolts and plugs. The sift/filter thoroughly cleansed. Car is at 42500km now. At 25000km only the fluid had been changed back in 2021. Also changed the long life service interval from 30k to fixed 15k oil change intervals. New brakes fluid. New Ravenol 5W30 VMP with filters change.
  21. I cannot recall seeing a more elaborate set of upgrades done by an owner! The sheer complexity of each operation is overwhelming let alone the labour that went into this… Hats down!
  22. I threw the silica bag away and will continue to drive with the G13 for the time being… still have time to decide whether I will flush and switch to Evo. Or I might as well get an Audi plastic cartridge with silica that won’t burst and clog the matrix heater. I mean the car has survived 5 years with crystal clear original coolant - if I can keep my maintenance and costs down without risking issues. G13 is still produced and sold.
  23. That’s not too bad. The 16” I have is quite a snug fit. Good luck and send some pics.
  24. lol this looks odd. Could it have been designed for an 18” space saver? Or that was in place of the spare? You could trim it to fit?
