Wool / foam cover in the driver's footwell
santr replied to santr's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
As an alternative - can somebody perhaps snap a photo of that area and what it looks like in your octavia? -
Hey, just noticed this wool type of pad (see photos) that has come off in the driver's footwell, kinda above and behind the pedals. Should I be at all worried? What is it for? Seems like some sort of padding/cover, but it has come completely off even tearing in places. Anyone knows what's it called so I could order a replacement? On top of that - the fuses / wiring seems on the left side is uncovered - is that normal?

Hey, just got a 2021 Skoda Combi PHEV and it's ofc completely out of charge. Tried charging via 2pin socket in the garage but it's not working. What I'm getting: On the car: solid yellow indicator On the cable control box: first (A, house) indicator flashing greed, bottom indicator (D) - solid red My guess would be - there is no grounding pin on the wall socket. Can that be the case or what else should I do to troubleshoot?

Considering buying 2021 Skoda Octavia Combi PHEV
santr replied to santr's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
Thanks for the tips, will do! -
Hey everyone, I'm new here so please forgive me if this has been asked but I couldn't find a thread as such. I'm considering buying 2021 Skoda Octavia Combi PHEV, with up to 50k km mileage so not new, but definitely not used and abused. The purchase is not exactly something I need but definitely something I want or just looking to spoil myself with as I've been grown tired of my 2016 Toyota hybrid. My question - is there anything that I should look out for? Anything I should know that could talk me out of buying an Octavia PHEV? Any technical issues..? I can charge at home & work, commute 3-5 times/week for up to 30km roundtrip. I quite often take longer trips, within country and abroad. Also - have a dog so Combi is mainly for that reason. Also looks. I'm aware of occasional infotainment issues, but as far as I'm aware it's mostly solved with software updates. Thank you!
