Error selector lever showing on and off
Mine got changed by the dealer as well, paid similar price. Error was showing up more often and ultimately was present all the time, as well audible struggle by the gear selector/shifter to move into D or P.

Error: selector lever...
Well one thing - 1.5TSI is a different car, not sure if it's apple to apples comparing the two. But yes - mine was ~350 parts, ~200 labor. I'm in Lithuania tho, labor can be much more expensive in elsewhere, I've seen people being qouted around 1k for the whole thing. In your position I'd strongly ask the dealer to repair it before warranty ends.

Error selector lever showing on and off
Gotcha, and thanks for sharing. And I assume you would not find these instructions in the official repair manuals? As they just replace the whole thing. Perhaps someone on the forum has access to those.

Error selector lever showing on and off
Gotcha. Just to be clear - the fix you're referring to is that arabic video posted in another thread, or? As in - that's the solenoid that the guy takes out? And it's different and more difficult to reach in the phev?

Error selector lever showing on and off
Just FYI I have the same issue of "Error: selector lever. You can drive on. Please visit workshop.", which comes on and off every other day. Car is Octavia PHEV. Had the dealer run diagnostics today and straight forward answer from their side was that 5WA713033CE needs to be replaced which is 380eur just parts, + ~200eur labor. When I've asked if I can drive, any risks etc, they just shrug it off and don't comment, "up to me", only recommending to get it fixed. I'll wait until after the holidays and so on and we'll see if it comes back on. Otherwise will get a second opinion from some non-dealer workshops.

AC clicking coming from dashboard
Hey, Have a similar issue - whenver AC (or well - fans) are working, you can hear buzzing/motorry sounds coming from the fans under the front windshield. It's very intermittent, sometimes louder, sometimes barely audible. And only audible in silence, i.e. when no music is playing. Asked the dealer - it's essentially actuators and gears moving the fan blades side to side and controlling the airflow. There is no 'fix' for it, other than completely disassembling the whole front panel and lubing them up. It's not 'repairable' and is not harmful. Anyway - yours is slightly different issue. I'd suggest keep poking the dealer if it's under warranty, otherwise seek other repair shops.

Wool / foam cover in the driver's footwell
Correct, it's' supposed to be that way'. To be honest - I'm a bit sceptical about wiring being uncovered and open like that, just as you are, but that's a very quick answer that I received. Would be great if anyone else could chip in, maybe it's just us - two 2nd owners - that are unlucky.

Wool / foam cover in the driver's footwell
Thanks for sharing, and no - there is no part number visible on it. And another quick update from my side - had the car serviced at the dealership and asked specifically about this, their short comment was that "they won't fix it and and won't bother ordering any replacement cover unless I demand it ofc" and recommended simply cleaning it out i.e. ripping rest of the stuff off and forgeting about it. It is not an issue. So there's that.

As an alternative - can somebody perhaps snap a photo of that area and what it looks like in your octavia?

Wool / foam cover in the driver's footwell
Hey, just noticed this wool type of pad (see photos) that has come off in the driver's footwell, kinda above and behind the pedals. Should I be at all worried? What is it for? Seems like some sort of padding/cover, but it has come completely off even tearing in places. Anyone knows what's it called so I could order a replacement? On top of that - the fuses / wiring seems on the left side is uncovered - is that normal?

iV not charging from home socket
Hey, just got a 2021 Skoda Combi PHEV and it's ofc completely out of charge. Tried charging via 2pin socket in the garage but it's not working. What I'm getting: On the car: solid yellow indicator On the cable control box: first (A, house) indicator flashing greed, bottom indicator (D) - solid red My guess would be - there is no grounding pin on the wall socket. Can that be the case or what else should I do to troubleshoot?
