  1. I think it's probably best practice to only have the update files on the SSD
  2. I guess an adapter adds and additional part that could fail or be knocked and interrupt the update - potentially bricking your unit. I used a portable ssd with a usb-a to usb-c adapter and had no issues. I just made sure it was stable and didn't touch it during update! I didn't have to open my hood during update. Updating from 1941 to 1985 was much faster than my update from 1804 to 1941. ~5-10mins compared to ~30mins. Was worried it didn't update properly, but after a few days of driving everything looks good 🙂
  3. Thank you for sharing the file. I updated yesterday from 1941 to 1985 and so far no issues. Some changes to AA as reported in the other thread.
  4. Hello Is the wireless charging pad air cooled/vented now? Do you find it still overheats at all especially on a sunny day? If you have any pictures you can share that'd be awesome! Thank you!
  5. I am having a similar issue with my 2021 1.5 MHEV. Went away for 3 weeks and the battery was completely dead - unable to be recharged at all. Got the battery replaced under warranty a couple weeks ago, but then got a 12v battery low warning yesterday after not driving it for only two days. Thought it might be the dash cam I had hard wired into an always powered fuse - even though the hard wire kit says it will cut the power drain if it detects the battery dropping too low - so today I swapped the hard wiring to a switched fuse which only powers the cam when the ignition is on. Going to wait and see how it fares over the next week. Regardless a dash cam shouldn't be draining it so fast over just two days.
  6. I updated mine from 1804 to 1941 last week. The TPI seems to suggest that you should be able to update as long as you have 1788 or newer. I used the MOI3_EU_SK_R9410L MU1941_SK20230615S file. I read in another thread that it had to get reuploaded due to the original (the one you are downloading) getting corrupted. I was going to try and update again to 1969, but the file on mibsolution seems to be corrupt (at least for me)!
  7. @aaaaplayI'd be interested to know too if you had any luck with the cooled charger
  8. Has anyone tried replacing their built-in wireless charger with this? Is it compatible?
