Hi, i have the following question: the car is octavia 2024 with SFD2. Fitted with lane assist + front assist (but no travel assist package and no ACC). I saw that OBD eleven have one click app for Active lane guidance and the description is favourable that it would work even for cars equipped with normal Lane assist. The Active lane guidance is feature to help the car stay in between lanes a lot easier than manually doing so. But the question is if it would constantly alarm to make steering wheel input so it knows I'm not asleep since i don't have the capacitive steering wheel. If thats true - would a KLR module resolve this problem and not have to change the steering wheel and make more complex coding? And since it's SFD2 (not the older SFD) would the coding require any VAG activation? Whats your verdict? I hope that makes sense. Thanks.

Hello everyone. I am writing this post with the intention to help somebody with few of the issues of the 1985 sw. I wrote previously in other thread - NEW 1985 (or similar) but since this one is pinned and more popular I will put it here. So - about the issue with the buggy Apple Carplay not changing the Album Covers and Song titles on the Digital/Virtual Cockpit. And sometimes not showing the caller's name on the VC when someone calls through Carplay. Previously when I bought my car with SW 1969 it was working flawlessly but when I updated to 1985 the issue started. I found out that sometimes the titles and covers change as they should and sometimes they don't. So I think the solution is quite easy - If you switch off the car (leave it and lock it) with the Apple Carplay opened on the main screen before that, the next time you start the car the Carplay with automatically startup on the main screen and will communicate with the Digital Dashboard as it should. But if you switch off the engine whilst Carplay is not opened on the screen, the next time the Virtual Cockpit will be buggy Apple Carplay-wise. I think this trick works even if you listen to a radio before switching off the engine but the Apple Carplay should be opened on the screen. Mine is usually the modular - Map/Waze + Spotify/Music + Search/Directions in one screen. I am not 100% sure that's the reason/solution but I found out this trick does the job for now. I have absolutely the same problem and I've no idea how to fix it. I don't remember if the album cover was showing in the cockpit on 1969 fw but It was stating the names of whatever was playing via CarPlay and was switching instantly when the next audio started. The album cover now stucks for whatever audio it decides and after changing the songs from spotify it does not change. Also the song's name does not change for a long period (10-15 seconds) even though it plays properly (talking about the instrumental panel). When switching through the radiostations I get the name and logos in the instrumental panel but not if the audio is coming from Carplay. I don't get the callers name in the cockpit as well - only on the main display, hence I cannot pickup through the steering wheel. I had 2 occasions when everything was working properly but the rest is the above mentioned. Did a factory reset and everything - same. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I forgot to mention that unfortunately i am not situated in the UK but oversees. So on top of 1,2k I would need additional coding for extra cost? And by trim you mean steering wheel? Thanks again.

Hi guys, I am on the brink of buying an already manufactured new Octavia mk4 which would be equipped with Front assist radar and Lane assist Camera. Since I cannot add anything additional as extras my question is - would it be possible to add adaptive cruise control (the car has only standard CC) via adding the 3rd stalk and/or changing the steering wheel with the additional buttons? I have read almost every topic in the forum but I am still not sure if that can be done by myself through coding (with the necessary equipment) - i have read that there are few codes that are only generated through the official website/system of VAG group and I can't wrap my head around if that would be a dealbreaker.
