I have owned a Octavia estate for last five years, just bought a 2020 Octavia estate. The same SE L 1.5 dsg. Have had trouble free motoring. Previously owned Vauxhall and Volvo estates but found Skoda a great buy. Been very happy with them.

Does anyone know what the difference is between a Octavia mk3 SE L petrol DSG . (1.5 TS i, PS) and a (1.5 TS i GPF ACT ) ? They appear to be the same car although one is 69 plate ,the other On a 20 plate.

Thanks for that. I'm text driving a 2021 e-tec this morning. Looking forward to seeing the difference between the two 1.5 engines.

Possibly but I ordered what I thought was the best buy at the time. Previously ordered an Vauxhall Astra but had delay with supply. So popped into Skoda and ordered Octavia after seeing showroom. Delivered to me following month after I sorted model ,,colour etc. Have been very pleased with it and Skoda showroom.

My Octavia estate has 17" wheels.

Hi mick. Are there any issues replacing 17" with 1 6" . Would that give a smoother ride without low profile tyres?

I think at my age the sporty years have passed me by. So comfort is the order of the day.

I will shortly be replacing the original Dunlop tyres. As I'm not too happy with these low profile Dunlops. Would appreciate any advice regarding the Best option for 2019 Octavia estate. Thanks.

Like everything else nowadays, nothing lasts. As I said before my van has original battery . 17 years old. Can anyone better that'?

My Octavia is coming up to five years . The stop start does sometimes play up. Mainly do short trips so will keep a check on it. It may be of interest , my Vauxhall vivaro van still has its original battery , 2007. Hope I last that long🤔.

Hi . Thanks for your interest. I think it's a diesel 1.5. It's not for me however as I have a DSG estate . Any info on a 2011 , hatchback would be gratefully received.
