I would appreciate any information regarding any pros & cons with the e-tec Octavia. 

Worth looking at the various other threads. 

We have a 2024 Octavia Estate SEL 1.5 etec and it’s incredible. It’s spends so much time when your driving with the engine off because the starter/alternator that’s runs off the 48v system can do stop/start seemlessly. It’s difficult to describe it on here but it’s got to be test driven to understand. We had a normal 1.5 non etec before and they are like two different cars. It’s a very clever bit of kit if you don’t want to go down the EV route but just want simple fuel savings etc.

Thanks for that. I'm text driving a 2021 e-tec this morning. Looking forward to seeing the difference between the two 1.5 engines.
