Kodiaq iv (2024) - Departure planner
Any know if it’s an OTA (over the air) update or requires a dealer visit?

Electrical assist faults
Unfortunately this is a common issue with the MK2 that affects some but not all. Apparently the fix is a software update but no timescale has been given - Other than removing a couple of fuses for half an hour to reset the system, it’s a case of waiting for the software from Skoda.

2024 Lead/Delivery Time
Got the call from the dealer with a date for collection. SE L IV with no additional options was ordered at the end of August and available to collect at the end of November. So approximately 13 weeks from order to delivery. The timescale given to me when ordering was 12-14 weeks which turns out was correct.

2024 se-L VC stuck on ‘Starting map view’
Seems to be hit and miss, works for some but not others. For those that it doesn’t work for, an as yet unreleased software is apparently the fix. I’m picking up my SE L next week. I’m not too fussed if it works on mine as I’ll be using Google Maps and Waze via CarPlay.

2024 se-L VC stuck on ‘Starting map view’
Unfortunately it’s a known issue on the MK2. It requires a software update that Skoda currently have no timescale on.

2024 Lead/Delivery Time
So my SE L IV that was ordered at the end of August has been built and has left the factory for shipping to the UK. How long are we looking at from a car leaving the factory, arriving in the UK, having the PDI checks and then being available for collection? 3-4 weeks?

Dashboard warning symbols
Should probably be checked out by the dealer at the very least.

Dashboard warning symbols
You’re not the first unfortunately.

2024 Selection Model F5 Control Unit Fault
I ordered the base model so looks like I may have the issue. Surely if there is an issue with software or components, they would be looking to rectify it instead of continuing to send new vehicles out with a fault?

2024 Selection Model F5 Control Unit Fault
With a new Kodiaq due for delivery in November, I find it slightly concerning that this error with the driving safety features seems to be quite common - multiple reports on here, another forum and on Reddit. It’s a bit of a worry that I may have the same issues come November. Does it only affect Kodiaqs with the optional “driver assistance packs” or potentially any 2024 Kodiaq?

Just placed an order for one
I have a IV SE-L due for delivery in November so it’ll be interesting to see if mine comes with it.

Pics of wheels please ?
Can the plastic inserts be removed and the alloy used without them?

Kodiaq iv (2024) - Slow Home Charging Speeds
Please update us with the response - I’m particularly interested as I’m about to put an order in for an IV myself.

Kodiaq iv (2024) - Slow Home Charging Speeds
It appears to be a well known compatibility issue with VW group vehicles. It goes back as far as 2022! https://www.id3forums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=2631 https://www.id3forums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=2070&start=20

2024 Lead/Delivery Time
Yes, it was a salesperson. An order placed now would be ready in mid-November - How true that is I don’t know but another member above who has placed an order seems to have a similar timescale to me.

2024 Lead/Delivery Time
I’m looking at Standard SE L spec with no options. I spoke to a dealer and they’ve said it’s currently 12 weeks so an order now would arrive towards the end of November.

2024 Lead/Delivery Time
It’s a company car so I’m not dealing with a dealer per se. Leasing company suggest around 10 months but that’s only an estimate they tell me. I’ll certainly try my local dealer but I was looking for real advice from others who might have ordered in the past month or two.

2024 Lead/Delivery Time
Does anyone know the current lead/delivery time on the new model? I’m pretty close to ordering an IV in SE L spec with no option packs - Are we looking at several months?
