Recently (since last software update?) my iV estate (MY2021) has started deadlocking as I leave the vehicle. Today my wife was dropping me off at airport and got out of the car leaving her phone and key inside. Car locked itself. Luckily I was able to open with Skoda app. Otherwise would have to break window. This is dangerous. I gather Skoda is denying this is a problem!

Mine has gone from 34 miles on Monday to 25 this morning! But snowing and temp below zero (Scotland). So not surprised. Also predicted range will depend on recent driving - if only round town then predicted range will increase, if all high speed motorway then will go down. My last EV (a Zoe) range started declining significantly at about 9 years so probably your battery not deteriorating yet!

I have 2021 iV estate. Spec says 43m(69km!). I have once, in the summer got 40m (64km), but usually will be around 35m (56km). In winter will go down as low as 24m(39km), but I do live in north Scotland!

When using Google maps for satnav, car volume controls do not work. So only one volume level available for the nav instructions. Works OK using other applications. Any ideas? In general I am finding this car very occasionally does weird software things for no reason. Not very reassuring.

2021 estate iV. Occasionally when I leave the car and switch off, the wipers move into service position for no apparent reason. As far as I know I have not done anything different from normal. Any explanation?

Yes that's solved it. Thanks. My wife had slid along slider to turn radio down and must have pressed the button. I hadn't realised this turned off the screen!

2021 Octavia iV estate Today when switch on get message "Data transfer set to "Share my position "... (see attached photo 1) If I press OK, screen goes to clock screen (see attached photo 2). I know this problem has been discussed elsewhere, but in my case I cannot access any touchscreen functions, so can't get into setup, radio inoperable etc. Everything else seems to work OK. Interestingly if I make a phone call my home screen appears, but only for the duration of the call! When call is over reverts to clock screen. Any advice how to fix?

That's what's worrying me. It never states over 30 even when fully charged! I've only just got the car. Not sure if y needs or can change anything in the set up. I can't see anything obvious.

Thanks all. I guess I was expecting a bit more. My 2018 Ionic easily did 30miles with an 8.9 battery. I appreciate the Octavia is probably a bit heavier.

I have just bought 2021 Octavia iV estate. All the info in brochures, dealers selling details etc say battery is 13kWh, but in the Skoda app it says 10kWh. Even when fully charged EV range only 30 miles which would fit better with the 10kWh. I had expected range at least mid 30s at least in the summer. Any thoughts?
