  1. Hi all, hope we all had a good Xmas. Got my car washed before xmas and drove it for the first time since the 24th today. Upon reversing, i get a message saying something along the lines of rear parking sensor - clean rear sensors with a ! next to one of the sensors on my screen. I cleaned the sensors properly, but to no avail. I am led to believe that it got water ingress when it was being jet washed. Ive checked fuses etc and all seem OK. I have found a replacement sensor online through a link someone sent in this group (about £45) and it looks like a simple unplug, pop out and reverse jobby. What i dont know is how to actually get to it. Do i have to take the bumper off, or can i jack it up and give it the old reach around Thanks in advance folks!
  2. Thanks for the advice. Is the VHB tape still removable if you wanted to take them off in future? I wouldn't want something that will stick them but have to break the paddles to get them off.
  3. Thats a shame, i have the same issue here as well as the SOS popping, a year on. Will maybe update my firmware at some point, but think this is a hardware issue here.
  4. Hey all, Got some of those cheapo extensions to attach onto the back of the paddle shifters - ive got proper big fat fingers so thought theyd be nice to have. Issue is, they dont stick to the shifters whatsoever haha I tried the "3M" patch it came with along with a whole host of other adhesives that wouldnt be permanent, like a superglue or epoxy, but none of them worked. Anyone had a similar experience or know the best way to get around this?
  5. Same issue for me, lets me sign in on the app and even create an account in the car but says unable to load settings when trying to sign in on the car. I do only have 1 key for it though...
  6. If you set the battery to preserve energy thats pretty useful on longer runs. I normally get close to 450 miles on a full tank (£45-50) with daily / bi-daily charging, about 80 miles a day.
  7. I fit the 422 front and rear on my octavia using the USB-C port on the rear view mirror, works fine. Only gripe is its hard to hide the rear camera cable as its so bloody long, got it routed in the roof liner and i still have about 6ft of cable hanging in my boot spare
  8. Late reply on this one! I had a subwoofer installed and the unit to plug into was indeed behind the glovebox. Battery in the boot Weird config, but its in lol
  9. Factory warranty no, but the fact they are offering me money off of it makes me think there is some kind of extend warranty on that specific part, especially as it’s a well known issue 🤔
  10. got told today as a goodwill gesture they will cover 70% of it. Not sure if this is a ploy to avoid fully covering under warranty as I was there in person or not, so will ring another dealer local and ask them.
  11. Wanted to know if anyone else has had this fault - E131 Gear selector mechanism? Dealer quoted just under 1400 quid to fix...
  12. interesting - could be something to do with the E-Sim potentially?
  13. As Rob said, very common issue (one i am also a victim of now). For some, a software update fixes the problem, for others it required a new Antenna or SOS module. Software updated didnt fix mine, so am now looking to get booked in for further diagnostics and potentially a new antenna.
  14. for me, manually disconnecting from the car wifi and reconnecting works.
