Leak found help please
Yeah I'll take a look. This weekend. I'm guessing that if the sunroof stays shut (until I fix the issue) then providing it isn't the seal around the edge of the sunroof I should avoid any further damage.

Superb Air Vent Removal/Fitment
Right so received my £21.50 new air vent from Ali Express and wasn't sure what to expect. I have to say the quality is bang on so thought I would do a very quick guide as it really is simple to do. Firstly get an vent removal tool (basically looks like a hooked corkscrew) and pull out the vent by sliding in the removal tool right to the back of the vent housing and gently pull. Then carefully unclip the power supply by depressing the clip and pulling. To fit the new one just reverse the above. Very simple indeed.

Lowering Springs or Full Set Up?
Evening All, Has anyone dropped their Superb on standard shocks? Is this fine to do or will this damage the shocks? Or do I need to have a full set up replacement, which will obviously cost a lot more. I am looking at 40mm I have a 2.0 TDI Hatch for weight reference.

To map or not to map!
Thanks bud, I know we can do that but as I drive all over the place using this car for business I wanted to pop it in auto and forget about it. Maybe someone can shed light on the difference after a map.

To map or not to map!
I'm a little undecided on how to proceed here. After the first long trip with a lot of hills, I'm not really liking the laziness of the DSG from standstill through first into second. How can I explain it...... It almost feels like when you ride the clutch in a manual. Plus you really have to push on the accelerator relatively firmly to get it to move off at any sort of pace (except maybe on a completely flat surface) then all of a sudden it's like the gearbox wakes up then let's all hell break loose! Also, when let's say in 4th/5th coming off a roundabout onto a dual carriageway and put your foot down to build up speed, again need to press rather firmly, then it drops one or two gears which seems completely unnecessary. I know when you really plant your foot that is meant too happen but it seems to happen to readily. So for example, foot down, nothing, a little firmer, nothing, a little firmer...... Warp speed 9!! I have had a 2019 150bhp mk3 tdi a few years ago from new and this behaved similarly to a point but seems a lot smarter (as in the gearbox) Would a remap of the gearbox sort this issue out because other than than it's seems a pretty solid car. Any info would be helpful

Fog Lights on in Auto Mode
That makes more sense I suppose but I'm not sure why Skoda chose to use DRL'S that look like you are just driving around with fog lights on. I'm going to swap both the fogs and DRL'S for a brighter WHITE bulbs as per what I bought for the fogs (not LED) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08KZP93C9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Fog Lights on in Auto Mode
This may be the DRL'S didn't realise they were next to the fogs and look just like fogs!!
-
Fog Lights on in Auto Mode
Front fogs only, as far as I am aware. Not DRL's

Fog Lights on in Auto Mode
Can anyone help me figure out why my fogs are on in auto mode when it daylight but then they are not on when the headlights activate? I have made sure I haven't put them on manually (which I think you can only do when not in auto mode anyway? I'm confused, please help me out here 😎

New Service Book
Hi everyone. I need to get a new service book to carry on with the stamps. Came across the below on ebay. Is this legal or have I read this wrong? How can you buy dealer stamps. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/145050658087?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=MzBSpJ1IREG&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=7jqw44k6sqw&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Can someone point me in the right direction for the best place to get a new blank one so I can get my specialist to stamp this on service.

DSG Thermostat Replacement
I have done this job today. It wasn't the most straight forward due to the bolt that holds the air box in place being badly corroded. Then the coolant hoses being put on by Thor himself. Anyway all fine now and car went straight up to temp and is now lovely and warm inside. I have also notice more power and smoother gear changes. Seriously it feels like it had made a big difference.

New to me MK2 Purchase
This is a great. Thank you, I've recently bought a mk2 L&k auto and noticed this exact thing. Though it was a little strange but it behaves exactly as you have described. That's actually put my mind at rest a bit 👍

DSG Thermostat Replacement
Just another question on this whilst I am waiting for the thermostat to arrive. Does having a faulty DSG Thermostat have a direct affect on the heating inside the car as this seems to not get as hot as I think it should be.

DSG Thermostat Replacement
Hi, I have the same issue and on this part you got it says that the opening temp is 80. Shouldn't this be 75 or doesn't it make any difference.
