  1. Hi Stuartie, I had this issue with my 2016 VW Passat working intermittently for over 12 months. To cut a long story short it turned out to be the 12v to USB adapter I was using. I found the information on another forum, apparently some devices can inhibit the DAB signal so if you are using any sort of electronic devices such as dash cams etc. I would try not using them for a few days and see what happens. 2. My car is often parked in direct sunlight all day and any tempreture above 25°C the seat ventalation isn't noticable until I have driven for at least 20 minutes and the air con has had chance to cool the cabin completely. Below 25°C or when the cabin gets to about 21°C it's great, but anything higher and I find it's useless. I also thought mine wasn't working for the first few weeks, when I checked under the drivers seat I found one of the fans was hanging down on it's wires, just clipped it back on and suddenly the seat ventalation started to work as described above. Like others I have tried all sorts of combinations and nothing seems to change it, I now have everything set to maximum to get the best results.
  3. Hi Gareth, I found a link to these cables in the Octavia forum and ordered it last week. 30cm is just the right length with the 2 right angled connectors to reach my Nextbase Piqo on passenger side and it works fine. I use the other 2 to charge my phones as they aren't wireless. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0D5GNQ6JB?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details&th=1 Dave
  4. Thank you for the helpful reply. I have been looking at various Superbs on the road and I can't see many signs that the wiper is used that often. I do like a clear view behind though so not sure if it's going to annoy me or not. Decided to proceed though so hopefully I won't miss the wiper. Dave
  5. Thank you for the helpfull reply.
  6. Hi Dave, I think this maybe the car I looked at last week, I was expecting it to be an ex-demo and was surprissed when I found out it had been returned. Anyway I decided not to proceed, more because the car wasn't for me. I did order a new hatch though from the dealer. Just wondering if you found out anything further? If you do proceed I hope all is good as it looked liek a nice car. Dave
  7. Hi, I have hust ordered a Superb SEL hatchback from stock and didn't realise the rear wiper was an option. Having had rear wipers as long as I can remember on various cars will I find this a problem? I had planned to order an estate but couldn't get it under £40k and didn't want to pay the luxury car tax premium from year 2 onwards, and to be honest I don't actually need an estate. So as it is an option on the hatch I'm hoping it is not actually necessary? Can anyone advise please. Thanks, Dave
