  1. Hi, I purchased my car in July with approximately 38,000 km on the odometer. Since then, it has been randomly exhibiting a persistent electronic fault. The Problem The issue manifests in two main ways: Signpost Recognition Failure: A warning message appears stating that the signpost recognition system is not working. Inaccurate Sat Nav Display: The built-in satellite navigation system throws up a random, incorrect map location (a minor inconvenience). Critical Motorway Braking: On motorways, the car's adaptive cruise control system will spontaneously attempt to slow the car down drastically to a non-motorway speed limit it believes I should be adhering to. As the motorway speed limit in Ireland is 120 kph, this is both alarming and potentially dangerous, meaning I must completely switch off the cruise control feature. Temporary Fix The only thing that seems to clear the issue is stopping the car and leaving it parked for at least 30 minutes. This resets the system, and the fault will not reappear for a week or two, then randomly strike again without warning. Dealership Response I informed the dealership about this problem during the first service. They claimed to have checked the system thoroughly but were unable to reproduce the issue, and, therefore, the fault is still unresolved. Has anyone else had experience with this specific fault and found a proper resolution? Thanks.
  2. Hi I’ve a 2024 mk3 superb combi in style spec (ireland) it’s got electric tailgate with keyfob and button by the gear selector for opening the powered boot. I’m unsure if this has virtual pedal I watched a vague Skoda YouTube video and followed instructions but the option doesn’t seem to be in the menu. Thanks in advance.
