  1. I’m on 1941. Installed that version via USB with the intent to install the latest on top of that, but have stayed with 1941 since it actually works perfectly fine. For SW as old as 18xx I’ve heard the best/safest way is to go for 1941 for first step anyway. I would go for that if I were you and evaluate after that. And if someone have any info on differences for 1989 vs 1941 I would appreciate this. Maybe I should go for latest, but a bit worried to fix something that aint broken.
  2. Hence my first question. Maybe stick with 1941 but a faster system would be nice. Heard norhing bad about 1985 so might go for that.
  3. Faster boot up would be nice! Otherwise 1941 works OK actually. Is it recommended to go for 1985 or 1989? I suppose I have to upgrade manually via usb with the benefit of choosing.
  4. I’m on version 1941 (updated manually by usb a while ago). Have been waiting for 1985 or 1989 to prompt OTA but still nothing. Is it any idea to update to 1989 manually by usb? What are the benefits and differences?
  5. But I would like the car to prompt the O3A7 update (infotainment 1989) OTA but Skoda says my current version (1941) is the ”latest available” for my car. Anyone know how to manage to get this update, or maybe not necessary?
  6. Just installed O3A8 on my Octavia iV 21. Went smooth but the car did reset itself to factory settings afterwards. Logged on with main user and everything seems to be working as usual. Didn’t have any problems before.
  7. Seems like many of us have had the same confirmation screen. No prompt for update for me today. However, I see no changes. But glad the issue seems to be solved.
  8. For me there was two new notifications after completion today stating the installed components. However, I can’t see any differences in the UI. Hopefully the answer from Skoda regarding issue solved is true. Let’s see tommorrow…
  9. Sincere apologies also for me and they didn’t use same template. However, it might be challenging to ”provide a screenshot of the error message” since I get no such thing. Only a message stating successful installation. Thank you for contacting us. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We recommend to perform the factory reset in your vehicle. Please follow these steps: 1) Reboot the Infotainment panel by pressing & holding the power button for approx. 15 sec until the Skoda logo appears. 2) Open the Infotainment menu in your vehicle 3) Continue to the "Settings" 4) Then click on "Factory settings" Pleas note that this will delete all stored personal settings (paired phones, favourite radio stations, user profiles, etc.) and also remove the user profile / user (ŠKODA ID) from the Infotainment. Then please enroll the vehicle with your account again. Kindly monitor if the update notification still appears. If the problem persists, please provide us with: - A screenshot or photo of the error message. - The exact date and time when the notification appears. Once we have this information, we will review your issue again and inform you as soon as we have a solution. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
  10. I experience the same issue with my car (Octavia MY 21 infotainment v. 1941). Have been going on for about 2 weeks. My car prompts the update everyday despite reporting successful installation the day(s) before. Got a generic reply from Skoda telling me to perform a factory reset. Will try that but allow me to doubt. Have anyone got rid of the never ending notification, and if so, how?
