Just an observation. If the fuel cap is not air-tight then you may get an engine warning light turn on. If you have an OBD reader then the code is P0441 (Incorrect Purge Flow); sometimes you might also get P04F0 (High Pressure Purge Line Performance). The car is still driveable with these codes, but it won't pass the MOT with an engine check light on. Changing the fuel cap is an obvious first step for fixing this issue.

When I got my Fabia a couple of years back, I looked at the USB socket and thought that it would eventually fail at some point so I bought a 6" USB A socket to USB A plug fly-lead. I keep the fly-lead permanently connected to the car's socket and connect any other devices to the fly-lead socket. That way, all the wear and tear is limited to the fly-lead, which can cheaply be replaced if necessary.

I've had this error pop-up a couple of times. Each time the fault has cleared after driving the car for a short distance (20 metres or so). I don't know what triggers it, but it does seem related to reversing the car before turning off the engine and ignition; however, any attempt to deliberately trigger the fault never works. The biggest problem is that the car's central locking doesn't work when the fault is shown, and for my car that means going round the outside to the passenger door, levering off the keyhole cover, and manually locking the car that way.

I have an Amunden on my Fabia and my files are similarly arranged and they play exactly as arranged in the file system. Have you checked through the media playback options? I suspect there's an option you need to set or clear to turn off alphabetic ordering. I notice that the Swing has a setting called: Turn title playback including subfolders on/off I think that is a prime suspect 😉 Bob

I've had my "new-to-me" Fabia with Skoda SatNav for a week, and I gave up with the SatNav on day two. I much prefer my Garmin Drive 52 which has lifetime maps, and (when connected via Bluetooth to my iPhone) gives me traffic updates. It also that the advantage that I can remove it from the car allowing me to do updates and route planning in the warmth and comfort of my home. And if/when it breaks down, I can simply replace with another one for around 100 quid. So the fancy Skoda infotainment system is used for playing Radio 4 or MP3 files from a USB stick.

The day after I bought my 2021 Fabia I had the headlights set to Auto and I noticed that the SatNav display turned to night-time mode each time the lights came on...

I'm not at all surprised that you're super happy with your Fabia. I am with mine. My first Skoda was 3 year old Favorit Silverline which I bought in the mid 1990s. It was a fantastic car. Ever since, I've had a series of Felecias and then Fabias. All have been comfortable, reliable, economical, and easy to drive. I've now bought a 2021 Fabia, and passed my previous 2013 Fabia on to a friend. My friend and I are both happy bunnies and enjoying our cars.
