Hi all, I'm considering trading in my fabia vrs for the octavia le diesel. The dealer has offered me a good price on the fabia and a great price for the octy. I don't know what to do really, I'm hearing all sorts of bad stories about the 170bhp engine it uses. I've been told the pd130 in the fabia is much better. Would I be wise to make the move? MY fabia is 2006, so factors such as warranty running out soon and MOT next year make me feel I should make the move. Tho the fabia is real fun to drive. Any advice??

I'm thinking about the 312mm Audi TT ones for mine too. Yes or no? If not what are the alternatives?

Good points in that FAQ there. So would any other engine components have to be changed to run NOS or whats the scores on the doors?

Fair point I suppose really. Tho I know of one or two people who do use it on the open roads here, what can happen if caught? Is it a Police matter etc?

Excuse my ignorance......I thought you could declare it to insurance? Or is this a NO NO mod in insurers minds? I don't know the in's and outs' as such. I take it people have it just put it in and say nothing?

I found this, seems to be getting good reviews Diesel Cars anyone got it or is it advisable etc? let me know your thoughts please and is it as simple as just buying the kit in that link or would additional kit be required etc cause when it comes to engines its kinda over my head! lol Cheers

Hi Folks, I know there is probably loads of questions on this but I can't seem to find the correct answer! I'm wanting to upgrade my brakes to the above.....What are the part numbers I need and where is the best place to purchase? (Also is the kit a straight swap and I'm keeping my OEM rims on). Finally, I bypassed my EGR valve but its making a noise like a 'pigeon' at certain revs, I'm guessing there is a leak some place as around it is very 'suity'. I believe allard do a permanant replacement kit for this as mine is home made!! Whats the one to go for or any suggestions?? Thanks for reading and hope to hear from someone soon.

They are nice wheels.....as someone else said, would look too high. I put 17" RS6's on mine.....looks well, must get the pics up

Hey there, I'm based in Northern Ireland but there is a company called torquetronix.co.uk.....I think there are reps from this company in the mainland. I got my Fabia Vrs remapped a couple of months ago for around 240quid. I've also a K&N panel air filter(£40).....and going for a milltek exhaust(£300). All in all, when all work complete, I'll be sitting up around 200bhp. All in for less than 600quid!!! Look up torquetronix and milltek exhausts....

I bought by Fabia Vrs from these guys.......I am well pleased with the service. The minute I went to the showroom I was well looked after. Gold stars to Mervyn Stewarts

Hi Everyone, Any ideas on where I can purchase official Vrs clothing?? I live in Northern Ireland and recently bought an 06 fabia Vrs.....I love driving it, bring a smile to my face when I put the foot down!!
