  1. I too wanted black leather and was unsure about the brown. But having had it a week I am more than happy with it. Alot darker than most of the pictures I saw prior to ordering and since.
  2. I'd I'd go for the canton It sounds great in my L&K
  3. Tried it tonight Heated windscreen on Phone sat on seat (not in phone box) Phone reception appeared as clear as normal
  4. Had seen that and am gonna check it out this weekend
  5. Pretty sure when I've approached anything be it car/wall/garage it has come on automatically
  6. Coming from a mk2 octy it's a definite step up all round and certainly engine noise is less noticeable even under hard acceleration. Having never driven an s2 I can't offer a comparison that way. Road noise doesn't seem too bad for 18" wheels but not had it on motorway yet for a real test
  7. To be honest I don't know because I've always pressed the button when it reminded me. I'll have to try it and see
  8. Nope as deal was made long before scandal came to light. But I don't see how anybody could be penalised for it on their trade in as it something that was beyond their control. Surely vw/skoda should offer pre-scandal trade value?
  9. after a week of ownership i've tried out a few of the different driving modes and bits and pieces of the kit from what i can remember of top of my head DCC seems to work well in conjunction with Drive mode - not tried setting up and individual setting yet - but normal and comfort are not best suited to my daily commute( non motorway) so i'll prob stick with sport for that. Kessy/virtual pedal - Like somebody else said in another thread virtual pedal you have to do a 'kick' motion under rear of car not waft your foot from side to side. It's not once failed to open for me and only works when ive had the key with me at the rear of the car ( i had key approx 3 ft away and the kick wouldn't work) . Similar for opening the front doors with the handles. System does remind you to switch off ignition with button if you have forgotten (after engine has stopped) once you open the door... i did this a couple of times....reminded me of first time getting use to lights left on warning Stop/start & auto hold - having never had either of these systems on a car before was quite surprised how quickly and easily i've adjusted to them and dont feel the need to turn them off columbus infotainment - dab/cd/music from sources all work well. dvd/video as expected shuts screen off above 5mph(with warning message) although audio keeps playing and as you slow to lights etc screen reactivates. Video files - considering how many different formats there is and resolutions etc its hardly surprising the first few i tried failed to play although they were 1080p and 720p. I've been playing around with a video recoder/resizer and have had some success, but i'm thinking if you have to mess around going to that trouble so you can watch it in car when you happen to be stationary is it worth it? Acc/cruise control - not had chance to try it on motorway yet - but i was worried after reading the manual at first - manual shows controls for cruise on stalk for main beam/indicators..mine werent there! - all my cruise control/acc is on the additional stalk below the main beam one ( i wonder if this is differences between Acc and non ACC cars) seats & interior - all seem well put together and comfortable so far. As i said before really happy with the Brown leather So far only thing i can say i'm disappointed with in way its been implemented is the usb/12v socket positioning. Use of either or both generally means you have to keep the tray cover open if using flash sticks/usb leads/12v adaptors. think i would have prefered it inside the centre console armrest or glove box Feel free to ask me something i havent mentioned and i'll check it out as soon as i can
  10. These pics aren't great as it was dark anyway - and using flash on phone completely hid the colour without the flash you cant see anything - but at least you get an idea of the three colours The pics are taken from the drivers seat looking towards passenger door/dashboard blue green warm white
  11. I should hope not......although it would be perfectly acceptable to put an unruly passenger in there
  12. Must admit I took that pic on purpose After Guernsey donkey's bridge support
  13. dont think so - i know somebody who has seen one already - however that was maybe a test drive or an ex demo/showroom. mine maybe the first factory order one?
  14. hard for me to comment so far - never had an automatic before so till i get used to it plus all the gasgets like stop start etc
