I havent got vcp/odis-e so will have to find some1 to help me with that and maybe explain in more how to wire it up so they are on like a drl Dont suppose u have a how 2

Yh i have a fl octavia, i have the lights i got them from china, meant to be oem units, brought from ali express... only prob is 1 of them cracked in a house move, i have all resistors for them but cant remeber how they all go, and how to make the top row just the brake light.. how did u fit yours?

Nice, i asume yours is on the right? Are yours oem lights then not from ali express? How you get top set leds to act as the brake light, and you have them on as drls aswell?

Hi is anyone on here still running there led rear lights ? Or you had problems and done away with them? I have a set but one broke in the garage when we moved , still undecided weather to go with it or not... If anyone got pics or advice? I got mine from ali express china ones i think

Is it facelift or pre facelift? If facelift the black cover pops off and theres 3 screws holding it on, If pre facelift its bumper off and same 3 screws holding it on

Theres a few blue ones breaking on ebay at mo, also aint there one in the breaking cars section at the moment

U have pics from under mirror aswell looks as if bottom cover broken? I have some pics of mirror in bits if that helps you

Hi you can replace them bits sepratley fella the indicator unit is easy to replace and the glass is also not hard i have a glass for a fl octavia send me a pm and its yours? If u take glass out, u will see the outta cover is held in with 2 t10 torx bits then with a bit of force the cover will come off and u will see the idicator unit easy, that is also screwd in, once done unplug and should come out easy... also bottom cover comes off if damaged Hope this helps

The only way to tell is to open the mirror up and see if it has 6 wires all connected as 2 of them do side mirrors, but easy change over if plugs are the same

Nice mod, wounder if the mirror supports the side mirrors for dimming

I have this steering wheel and i used this controller for it thanks to ed's help and gizmo and reading loads of posts

So i will have to give up the rear speakers to power this or can i spur off the rear speakers to power this and keep them? This has a controller attached to it aswell that controls frequency and bass that what u mean buy converter?

Hi people i got myself a tyre sub from pioneer, only 200w max and was woundering whats best way to wire this in? And to a factory columbus? Tyre sub is in and controller fitted wires are at front of car but just stuck where wire to? Any help please 1st pic is example speaker line input system 2nd pic is rca input system

Right this weekend i finally got round to fitting my dsg mfsw on my fl octavia vrs, followed all the instructions start to finish, had no issues at all even coding in i thought went ok, but today when drove work i have no cruise control! If push button up on stalk i have errors and if push button down it takes me to my beam bending menu on/off, so where did i go wrong? Has anyone had this? Did i code it wrong any help be great I followed coding at bottom?
