Agree with this ,,, it's strange there are so few colours. Although tbh I had enought trouble making my mind up from the few options there are now ! Magnetic Brown :-)

Potentially , only 11 weeks to go til I'm driving around in a shiny new yeti ,,,,,, first new car ever (at 40 yrs old !) , pretty excited tbh What would you say is the best thing about owning a brand new car ?

It's that easy to do ? Got a new yeti on the way with Columbus head unit ,,,,, can I really just open up iTunes select the lot and drag it all across to an open sd card folder ? Is it really that easy mate ?

How many changes do you think I can get away with ? The last change I made was met with a reply that I will lose the pre price change protection if I change again. Thoughts ?

As you can see by my posts I've changed the colour of my yeti three times now, staying with magnetic brown now. This is a request for your thoughts..... I've just noticed that the mdi is still an option on the l&k ,, now the one really good thing on the ix35 is the sound system and connectivity, I know I would miss this. Is it worth me annoying my dealer again to add this option or do you think I should leave it and stick with the aux in and convert all my iTunes to mp3 and stick them on cards/disks ?

Well,,,, annoyed the sh@t out of my dealer today and changed my colour to magnetic brown ,,,, promised him that would be the last change. Built the config picture with that colour last night and it grew on me,,,, all done now. At least it will match the seat colour now.

I don't think the l&k is overpriced at all, I never had any intentions of getting one til I was about to buy a cr170 elegance with a few options and it worked out better to just get the l&k

I couldnt agree more about the wood inserts, they look honking !!! Salesman assured me that they were only installed as an option, mine will come with piano black inserts with the l&k logo,,, he will be for it if it turns up with trees on the dash !! Very tempted to change to the dark brown metallic now,,,, arghhhhhhh

The colour for the l&k is the exclusive dark brown metallic and the seats are brown to match it. I don't like the brown at all so I went for the moon white, which i'll stick with now. Such a shame you cant change the colour of the leather though, and there is only one set of wheels that come with the l&k. Bit restricted really. But the included options more than make up for that though.

Cracking pics of colours, kinda regretting changing from jungle green to moon white now,,, never mind have to stick with it now. My l&k comes with the brown leather seats , tried to get them to change it to black somehow but dealer not budging, any ideas or thoughts on this ?

Funnily enough I've actually changed my colour from jungle green to moon white today :-) No cast iron reason , just put the two printed config pictures side by side and went for the moon white and swmbo hated the green ! Anything for peace !

Nick, had a octy vrs , brilliant car, sent my rear end numb after regular long journeys every weekend. If they sorted the seats and put 4wd in the new vrs , it would be a no brainer. Had 2 mk1 fab vrs as well, honking seats , brilliant car. I see the yeti as a sign I'm making a car choice with my head this time not my , well , you get the gist

Went back down to dealer today ,,, he pointed out that the elegance with the options I had spec'd wasn't far off the price off a l&k ,,, so the deal was done ,,,, FL Cr 170 4x4 L&K on its way to the kerms household !!!!!! Proper excited. Glad I didn't go for a vrs now,,,, almost same power with four wheel drive and comfort !

Came away from dealer today with a night to think about deal before I place order ,,,,, 170 cr elegance jungle green , elec drivers seat, heated windscreen, 12spk sound, Amundsen. 380 a month with 1500 dep ,,,,,,, Do I go for it ? Is this car really as good as everyone says it is ? Current lease is an ix35 , painfully slow with awful seats and very poor refinement in cabin

Off down to order a cr170 elegance today ,,,, with elec seats , heated windscreen and speaker upgrade Excited !

The gtd delivery times are a joke mate , vw dealer fronted up with the info that if I ordered that day (2 weeks ago) he couldn't guarantee delivery until march/April. What timescale have you been given ?

I'm being picky , the dealer couldn't guarantee the week would stay the same. Current lease runs out soon, the car will be due it's first large service which I don't want to pay for hence not extending that lease further.

That's v handy to know johann ! Maybe it's time for a yeti then ,,,,,,, current car is an ix35 , not bad but v slow and the seats are so uncomfortable its painful after an hour ! Can anyone comment on the standard of seating in the yeti ? Comfy , supportive ?
