  1. Load detection fault is normally caused by a broken wire in a 2 pin connector block down in front of the gearbox. It's best accessed from underneath.

  3. Can also be casting sand, which was not fully cleaned off in manufacturing
  4. Volkswagen group don't advise any additives although they do actually have genuine additives. Might be worth trying an additive or wait till you need to refuel and try super unleaded.
  5. Might be worth filling the tank with super unleaded and see if it stops the noise.
  6. Is it a metallic rattle?. What fuel do you use just thinking it may be pinking/detonation.
  7. In the UK any dealer which comes across a vehicle with this failure should submit a safety report to Skoda UK. This is done via the Diss system and is picked up at tech support at MK. They will then investigate and report to the relevant factory if necessary. If you are affected then please insist your dealer submits the report. They will need to ask you some questions and seek your permission to allow to Skoda UK to investigate. This can take some time to reach a conclusion but needs to happen so that tech support are aware.
  8. Yes that happens a lot, I work in vw dealer now and the amount of times updates and things like activating CarPlay or voice control switches off something else it's a nightmare. The system is great when it works but that's not that often. They can plug your car in and run a test plan to reconfigure the 5F unit and you should get everything back
  9. Just to clarify has your Fabia always had these functions or like me have you had them adapted using something like VCDS
  10. Did they do any recalls., software updates, key coding?. Do all doors and boot lock when you press lock button?.
  11. I am currently waiting for some parts from Superskoda and get email replies ok. Although they are always put in my spam folder. Have you sent the email to [email protected] I always get a reply from Magdalena. Only phone number on the emails is tel:+420604104105 I have not tried it though
  12. Do you have anything plugged in the 12v socket like a charger for a phone or a rear dashcam. I have experienced some VW cars which have bad radio reception due to either a charger or rear dashcam
  13. Rear window I believe, mine has an amplifier unit behind the inner tailgate trim. I noticed it when fitting the reverse camera
  14. Just googled the number and it seems 9B9 is the colour code
  15. Hi just had a quick look at mine, it has the part number 6V0863301A there may well be a colour code after that but it's not on the mat. Any decent parts guy should find it from this number

  17. My monte has a small holder for a the umbrella in front of passenger seat. Although if you have and under seat storage box on the passenger seat then you will not have an umbrella holder
