  3. If you're any good at detailing and don't mind sticking a coat or two of wax on to keep it topped up every couple of months, then the AutoGlym lifeshine package is very good. These can be grabbed for a bargain price on eBay and aren't overly difficult to apply! For example: AutoGlym Lifeshine These kits come with an interior protectant spray, glass guard and a paintwork sealant. They are relatively easy to apply! I even bought one of these and applied it to my fabia when I had it! It made cleaning the car a bit easier and nicer to do too!
  4. We were told the car was hissing quite loudly by a customer of ours who is also a friend of the previous owner, So obviously this is not 100%. Again - With regards to comments made on the day about the mapping. We can't say 100% that anything was said, but we were told that members of your staff, maybe even you, were Laughing at it and slating the map that was on the vehicle and stating that we don't know what we're doing. Now again, I don't have any proof of what was said, as I personally wasn't there to witness this, But I'm more inclined to believe the comments of customers, who have no reason to lie over that of a company who could gain from such comments. Personally, I would like to believe these comments were not said, and I certainly hope they weren't. Again - I will stick with what I say, in that this car was mapped for one individual, and not mapped to suit the needs of the person that the vehicle was sold to. We'll leave this here. If you wish to discuss this further, Give me a call on 0161 776 0777 (option 1).
  5. I would like to put this story to bed once and for all... The car in question was owned and developed specifically for a loyal customer of Awesome, who just so happens to be a friend of mine. Now this customer's requests when the mapping was done, were quite simply aimed at getting the very most out of the car that we possibly could with the hardware that it had. We were given the go ahead, that a clean map was not required, smoke was not an issue and that he rather enjoyed leaving a cloud behind him whenever he gave the car a good stomp of the old right foot. Now our customer, sold this car to another owner before it went over to this particular rolling road day, but the vehicle retained the mapping that we had previously done, and we were not asked to make any alterations to the map to clean it up any amount previous to him selling the vehicle. Now, we were informed by a few of our customers who were present on the day that this car was run on the rollers with a slight boost leak, which would have only added to the amount of smoke being kicked out by the car. The point I am making here, Is that the mapping on that particular car, was not done for your average customer or daily driver looking for a bit more performance. It was a completely bespoke tune, done specifically for a friend, to his exact requirements, Nothing whatsoever like one of our regular remaps that we carry out. If anybody has any further questions regarding this particular instance, or with regards to any of our remaps, be it our own, or the APR software that we offer. Feel free to contact me on: 0161 776 0777 (option 1), or PM me on here. Kind regards, Al. Awesome Ltd.
  6. I do apologise. I was speaking in general about my experience surrounding VW / Audi / Seat and Skoda rather than directly relating to Fabia models. Although oddly we have seen a couple of Fabia vRS's on Longlife servicing!
  7. Fabia sold for £3,200 Picked the Jetta up on Sunday! here it is.
  8. For sale here I have a 'nearly' complete Torque arm mount with a Powerflex PFF85-620R Bush Pre-fitted. These torque arm bushes are an excellent upgrade, offering far less lateral engine movement than the standard mount, whilst retaining 'as good as stock' comfort in the cabin! Prior to this mount I had one of the superpro bushes fitted but did not get on with it as It was too loud! I re-fitted the standard mount until this Powerflex one arrived. After fitting I could not believe how much better than the super pro one it was! The cabin noise levels are as good as standard with this 65 shore powerflex bush! This bush is normally £29.11 and the standard dogbone mount around £42.00 (or £20.00 second hand). The mount has been fitted to my 1.9TDI for around 3,000 miles and is being sold as I am now selling the car. The beauty of this is that I am selling it complete with an Aluminium mount, this means if you want to upgrade but aren't quite sure, or like me want to put your car back to standard when you decide to sell it you can do! Not only that, but pre-fitted into the mount makes it a lot easier to fit on your driveway with just a socket set and a pair of ramps / axle stands. I am looking for £42.00 delivered for this mount. Photo for illustration purposes - The mount for sale does not come with the front most bracket as this is different between the 1.9TDI, vRS 130pd and 1.4TSI vRS. PM me if you would like to purchase this mount! Once again, this is a personal sale and is not in connection with Awesome ltd.
  9. For sale here I have a brand new set of HoseTechnik braided brake lines. The kit consists of the front lines and the over-axle lines. These will fit all Mk1 Fabia Models excluding 2.0 Petrol and vRS. So basically - If your car has the FS-III Calipers, These will fit! They are finished in orange and will improve the braking performance and pedal feel. These were purchased as an upgrade for my PD100 Fabia and are now being sold as I am now selling the car. They have never been fitted to the vehicle or even removed from the packaging for that fact! I'm looking for £35.00 delivered to your door! Drop me a PM if you'd like to buy it or want to know if the kit is suitable for your car Once again - This is a personal item being sold and is not in connection with Awesome Ltd.
  10. Yeah, the jetta will be treated to Cruise Control shortly after it's arrival I'd be very well if my Mrs stopped nagging me lol.
  11. The wheels fitted are Brand new Volkswagen Golf VR6 Winter steels - 6.5 x 15" ET35 I swapped from the standard 14" steels to these because I found the odd 14" tyre size made buying good tyres incredibly expensive :(
  12. Yeah, It seemed sensible! I hope it sells quickly too, my colleagues keep pointing out 2.0TFSI related products and KO4 kits :(
  13. Yes... It certainly is. Doesn't help when the Mrs says... Yes I think a 2.0T would be a good idea... normally anything I suggest is a bad idea... damnit. Thanks Damo! Long time no see! Hope you're keeping well!
  14. You can indeed John! Kinda wish I had five sets of these now... SOLD!
  15. I got a little bit giddy this weekend and accidentally bought a VW Jetta 2.0TFSI... oops
