2014 Auto Estate Flat Battery
To @BobH38 - No, it is not needed to buy the Car battery from "Skoda". I think that the price in "Skoda" is much higher than the quality. If the original Car battery is, for example, 20% better than any other, the price is about 100% higher. Every manufacturer of Car batteries give a few years Guarantee. Check prices and Guarantee conditions and make a decision after that If Your Car have "Start/Stop"-System, than the new battery need to be coded with Laptop with "VCDS"-Software

2014 Auto Estate Flat Battery
To @BobH38 - My "Superb" is produced in 2014 Year too Still with original Car battery but it is in bad condition. Now, when the temperature is low, after two or three days without a drive, the Voltage when parked drops to about 12V and when try to start the Engine drops to 8V, which is actually a moment before to get faulty at all. If the Car is driven everyday I think that the Car battery will last this Winter and this Summer (Summer is much easy for Car battery). For the next Winter I do not believe that it will be OK. May be Your situation is the same. If You have strong patience and Garage (or a handy and secure place) where to charge Your Car battery, when You do not drive the Car for two or maximum three days, it will maybe serves to the end of this Summer. In the Summer or even Spring, the Car battery will last about a week without a drive. It is a about 7-8 months period, why not to try But difenetelly, You must be prepared to the fact, that You can stay on the road every moment. Think twice

2014 Auto Estate Flat Battery
To @BobH38 - There are two basic reasons for empty Car batteries: 1. The Car battery was not good/enough/properly charged; 2. The Car battery is faulty. I exclude the options, that something electric is switched on all the time in the Car or there are other tehnical Problem with Car electro system. The cold is also a reason, the Car battery to give low electric power. 20 Minutes drive is not enough to charge deeply discharged Car battery. How old is Your Car battery? Try to charge the Car battery for more than 24 Hours. After that, if the Car battery is empty again, after few days without a drive, it is better to buy a new Car battery.

Low coolant warning - but coolant level is OK
To @Kjetil1Z - I have the same error on my "Skoda Octavia 1 Combi, 1999, 1.9TDI, 110ps". Now I have "Skoda Superb 2 Face Lift Combi, 2014, 2.0TDI, 170ps, 4х4, 6DSG" and for three Years for now, I do not hear for the this error. But if it is the same Problem - it is almost the same solution. In the middle of the coolant reservoir, when You open the coolant reservoir cap, You will see the sensor for coolant level. This sensor have two thin metal terminals, like the on the attached below Photo. This two thin metal terminals, get some type of very thin corrosion layer on it and this is the exact Problem. Try to clean this two terminals. You need something thin and rugged and try to wipe it. If You can wipe about 50% of the thin metal terminals - the Problem will disappear

battery problem!
To @Kevgem - To have Your own battery charger is very good idea. It will help You many years. Buy one and charge Your battery. I think that, if You can go through this Winter, You can use the battery till the next Winter without any Problems. The low temperature reflects very bad to the car batteries (and any other batteries by the way).

battery problem!
To @Kevgem - Share the link from www . youtube . com "Ctek" is supplier for "OEM" battery chargers for Car brands like "Mercedes Benz", "BMW", "Audi", "Porsche", "Ferrari", "Lamborghini", "Bentley", "Rolls Royce" and may be a lot more. It is pretty good for "Skoda"

battery problem!
To @Kevgem - When "Start/Stop"-System stop to work, this is may be the first sign of bad battery condition. If You have (or You can borrow from a Friend) battery charger, with program for "AGM"-Battery type, You do not lose anything to try to charge the battery. I think, You need to give a charge for at least 24 Hours non stop. After that if You feel the same Problem with "Start/Stop"-System or hard or bad or slow start of the Engine, especially after a day or two without a Engine start, then You have to go for new "AGM"-Battery. The coding for new battery should be done with "VCDS". It is a few minutes job but You need to find who to do it. If You buy the battery from phisical (not "On Line") Store, may be there the coding can be done. This cars have the "Battery Management System" who take care for the good health of the battery and this system charge the old battery in different way from new battery. This is why we need to tell the Car that the battery is new If the Car is not used every Day or is used for short trips, it is good to give the battery a charge once a Month in the Winter and on two or three Months in Summer. Today's battery chargers are smart and do not overcharge the batteries..

Battery Charging - Advice Please ?
To @TasMan - On mine "Skoda Superb 2 Face Lift Combi, 2014, 2.0TDI, 170ps, 4х4, 6DSG" with "AGM" battery I use "Ctek" charger too but do not disconnect the battery from Car. My battery is still original from the Car factory and I expect a failure soon :( I give it charge once a mount. There is no Problem with electric of the Car..

- 14 plate MkII stop start suddenly stopped working: Any clues please?
To @LuPuS - I will try this after few days..- 14 plate MkII stop start suddenly stopped working: Any clues please?
To @911hillclimber - I think that the Problem is faulty battery To @LuPuS - Witch method in "VCDS" do You use to turn off "Start/Stop"-System?- Happy birthday to... us
Happy Birthday "Briskoda".. Greetings from Bulgaria- Steering wheel replacement
To @Ason - Hi.. I am from Bulgaria. In local official "Skoda"-Dealer I find this "OEM"-Number: "3T0419091JE74" for 550 Euro final price.- BACK FROM THE DARK SIDE
To @Kevgem - For every type of oil (Engine, "DSG6", "Haldex" etc) - it is very important how the Car is driven. It is one if You start the Engine and travel 500 Kilometers on highway without stop the Engine and it is another if You drive 10 Kilometers in city, stop the Engine 5 times and the oil get cooled and need to be heated every time when You start again the Engine. My personal advice for "DSG6"-Oil is: Change (only with "OEM"-Oil) on 30.000 Kilometers city driving, 40.000 Kilometers mixed driving and 50.000 Kilometers of highway driving. For the "Haldex 4" it is OK to change the oil and filter on 50.000 Kilometers. About the Engine cam belt and water pump - 80.000 Kilometers or 4 Years.- BACK FROM THE DARK SIDE
To @Kevgem - Look for poor quality water pumps. They like to lose coolant and need to be changed. Another Problem is "DPF"-Filter. If You do not take care for properly finished regenerations, there is chance the diesel fuel to go into the motor oil and You will see level of motor oil to start rising above maximum. You will need to change the oil as soon as possible in this situation. You need to take care for "Haldex 4"-System, too. I mean - change of all oils and the filter.- Detachable boot light
To @Adamsalam - I try to open my, with no success. It is very strong and I can not find something like tutorial. Are You sure that the Problem with yours is in battery? I ask my Friend with the same Car, to try his torch, that is working for sure but in my Car the torch does not work. I find that the failed fuse was the Problem and now my torch is working again..- Faulty Tailgate
To @richard999 - Look this thread ( Click Right Here ) and this video-clip:- OEM numbers
