I got mine direct from Devonutopia.
Good value and it seems to work well (there's been no shortage of rain since I applied it!).

Will your Skoda dealer not swop them over for you to save your back?
Silbury Skoda always swop mine, free of charge twice a year.

Yes And thanks to Ebay fees, especially them taking 10% off postage AS WELL, that's about as low as I can go on there. However if I have no fees to pay, I can go cheaper. And postage is the same for 1 or for about 16 Basically set price for anything sub 1kg.
We can see. I don't normally do group buys, but I sell the aquapel as part of my detailing so its no longer a nil profit deal like the spirit of a group buy.
Hi Jason,
What is your best price for Aquapel if buying direct from you, not using ebay?
Thanks
Dave

Looks like it's a left hand drive one.

Does anyone know if city safe can be fitted/activated on a Citigo after it has been manufactured?
Having watched the Despatched programme tonight it looks as if it would be useful to have.

I've been looking for an inexpensive dash cam with GPS, has anyone tried the HP f310?
-
I have PID for sale on eBay which I will happily discount slightly to a fellow Briskodian!
Is this a Navigon or Garmin?

If malcster doesn't want them, can I have them please?

My 1.4 L&K has just returned it's best mpg....37.1mpg.
My previous 2 Yetis were 140bhp diesels returning around 45 mpg, at least having the £500 fuel card eases the pain of the increased fuel costs (for the moment)!
-
I quoted the Simpsons deal to my local dealer, Silbury Skoda, they were happy to match the deal on the 1.4 l&k.
When we picked my new Yeti up my wife saw their deals on the Citigo (an excellent car) and we ended up ordering one of those for her.
-
I went into Silbury after seeing a link (on briskoda)for buying a Yeti on PCH at another dealer.
Justin was more than happy to match that offer so I ordered my 1.4 l&k tsi from him. He kept me up to date with its progress and we had a seamless handover when it came.
When we collected my new Yeti my wife saw the deals on the Citigo, after a bit of negotiations we ordered a Citigo for my wife.
As with the Yeti, the communication and service from Justin was excellent.
We have now bought our last 3 cars from Silbury who also have a very good workshop and after sales department.

It wasn't the 4 degrees temp warning was it?

IAM Surity for me.
Saga for my wife.
Both are due again next month so will see what it will cost for my new Yeti, and my wife's Citigo (should get it next week or so when cherished transfer is done).

Cheers guys

Thanks for all the replies.
Are they easy to fit or do I have to be double jointed with tiny hands?

We have purchashed a new Citigo today.
Can anyone advise me as to how good the headlights are on a Citigo please?
We live out in the sticks so I normally change to bulbs in my cars to Osram night breaker, or similar.
How easy is it to change the headlight bulbs on a Citigo?
Thanks

I wonder what the normal percentage of car owners go on to buy another of the same (excepting the odd foray towards an Alfa...) - certainly there does appear to be a lot of us sticking with the breed.
I'll be picking up my 3rd Yeti on Wednesday so I'm one of the ones 'sticking with the breed'!

My new Yeti arrived in the Tyne over the weekend, so now waiting for it to get to the dealers.
They then have to get the car agency approved (whatever that is?), get the finance documents for me to sign.
Then they need authority from VWFS to register and release the car.
Hopefully should have it by the end of next week.
I'll ask the dealer if they'll put my winter tyres on when I collect the car.
-
You can a 4x4 petrol 1.4tsi, but it's only available in l&K trim.
-
My Yeti has now been built and en route to Emden so should be here mid January.
Obviously there is a delay due to Christmas/New Year
-
I had three separate emails from Skoda after I placed the order at the dealer and paid my deposit on 7th October:
- an initial order acknowledgement, which came on 15th October
- then"Your Yeti enters our factory today" email on 24th November
- and finally "Your Yeti is on its way to the UK" email on 15th December, though no date given for collection here.
Then I got the phone call from the dealer on 19th December saying it was going to be ready this week - I'm picking it up on 22/12.
So, overall very satisfied: good, timely communication from Skoda, good communication from the dealer and delivery ahead of when I was expecting it.
I've ordered the spare wheel, reversing camera and smart link on top of standard L&K spec
Only two sleeps to go now
How did you manage to get email updates from Skoda?
My 1.4 L&K was ordered on 14th October (the only option is heated washer nozzles), I haven't had any emails from Skoda although my dealer says it's planned for a week 51 build with delivery mid January.
-
How long is it taking for 1.4 l&K to be built/delivered from when it was ordered?
-
I've used both Phillips and Osram's recently and would say that the Osram's are the better option.
I have found that Powerbulbs provide and good price/service.
-
I ordered my 3rd Yeti five weeks ago (going for a 1.4 tsi L&K on PCH).
Have been looking at webuyanycar (out of interest), their valuation has gone up by nearly £900 in the last week, I presume that this is due to the cold weather coming.
Left a dealer a bad review, now they want to talk?

Which dealer got the order, and which was the 'bad one'?
