  1. Rear wiper blade part No. is 7E0955425 cost me £7.30 from dealer last November. The above part No. is for the Elegance, don't know if it's the same for the Classic.
  2. The spec. on that power supply is only 70mA. The link to the Ebay leds is the same as the link to the array calculator!
  3. 3" in Northampton. Think i'll go out playing in the landrover tomorrow
  4. Are you sure the noise is from the heater? It might be the auxillary drive belt (fan belt) slipping. The power steering is electric which draws a lot of power which puts a heavy load on the alternator. The same can be said for when you start the car, you're putting the charge back into the battery as well as running the heater. I don't know how the drive belt is tensioned but it might be a simple job.
  5. Don't forget to budget for a decent battery charger and several battery packs. There's nothing worse than having your fun cut short by flat batteries. It's probably worth doing some reaserch into what battery packs fit into which cars. I used to build model boats so space wasn't to much of an issue and standardised what batteries I used. Spend some time in a decent model shop, it's worth their time and effort to give you decent advice if it means that you become a regular customer spending your hard earned on new tyres, motors and even more batteries. Whatever you decide to buy above all else have fun and remember that if the car is coming towards you and you want to turn it to the left (your right) you have to move the joystick to the left
  6. Just don't use it in strong sunlight :S
  7. We had a group buy on here about three years ago for THIS.

  10. Thanks for the kind words Brimma. I know you lost your mother last year and was impressed that you managed to do a reading at the funeral. All the best for 2012. Hairy
  11. Was going to post this in roadside, but thought what the hell, could do with a laugh and a bit of banter after the year i've had. It started going wrong in May. Turned up for work on monday morning not feeling to well, been sick during the night and woke up with slight chest pains. Didn't feel quite right so drove to the hospital, described my symptons, and after a couple of tests was told I was having a heart attack. Ok I said i'd better stay then. One hour later I was having a stent fitted. During the next couple of days I was repeatedly asked if I was a diabetic, to which I kept answering no. Turns out I have type 2 Diabetes, for which I have to take Metformin tablets twice a day PLUS 4 Insulin injections. Just as I thought things couldn't get any worse, my mother sadly passed away in September, god rest her soul. Still it's not all doom and gloom, just had an excellent night round my best friends house, known him for 40+ years. So it's out with the old and in with the new. I've decided to change my user name from chriskite to Hairy Chris, which describes me quite accurately. So, happy new year to everyone on here. Oh, and a big thank you to my big sister Anne for all her support during these trying times. Hairy
  12. And a happy new year to the both of you. Chris
