hi i have a 1.9 tdi octavia its cam belt was first changed at 79999mils as was recomended to me from reading this post should it have been done earlyer and when would you recomend having the next change also sholud i have the water pump done at the same time? as the skoda garage that did the work didnt mention any thing about it. alost as i have no history with the car i dont know what has been done in the past ive owned the car for 2 years since 76500mils thanks Michael

here is where i ran the amp wire in the other halfs clio there is a gromit there but i was in a rushso i havent run the wire though it. It is a 54 plate one so should be the same for your chavvy mate second pic is more of engine bay so you know there it goes hope this helps michael

had the same problem in the other half cilo when fitting power wire for amp. There is a way in near the water bottle on the bulk head behind the black steel panel it hard to find ill try post a pic to help you when she gets in from work if it helps michael

In my octy mk1 Im running two tsw3004spl 12 inch pioneer subs powerd by two kenwood 1800w monoblock amps and a 2 fard power cap if any thing the amps are under powered i reckon :headbang: i have also had a 400w 15 rockford fosgate punch sub with a rockford fosgate 300w amp which took out my rear screen :Yikes: and two pioneer 2000w 12s with a 2000w rockford fosgate amp and im my experance it depends on what music you listen to and how loud/bassey you like your music oh and how much dosh you got to spend

I also pay £690 for my rx7 (group 14) fully comp and im in a A grade post code both cars keep on driveway skoda with up to 15000 mils and rx7 5000 mils

I pay £490 fully comp as a 24 year old with 3 years NBC with 3 points on my license and this includes my fiancé who is 20 on my octy Mk1 1.9TDI all mods decleared

Hi all my name is Michael im originally form new Zealand been in england for 3 years now. Bought my 1998 Octavia 1.9TDI 90BHP almost 2 years ago now and slowly been modifying it to how i want it since then with 18 inch alloys fully adjustable coilover springs kit k&n filter and full I.C.E install including DVD. although it hasn't all been plain sailing as iv had (as far as i can tell) the normal Octavia 1 problems eg all window regulators replaced rear central locking replaced (front ones not working now) indicator sometimes stay on not flashing like they should and the window wipers play up int the winter eg wipe once then they keep wiping for around a minute then stop in the middle of the screen its kinda annoying but like i said it just in the winter. Im a bit of a petrol head also having a mk1 series 3 Rx7 under going panel and respray being under taken by myself and my Dad. For now a couple of pics to wet your appetites
