front looks about right id say, prob 5-10mm lower at the back would be my opinion. although its hard to say from the pics?

i was not too happy with the purchase of my 06 fabia vrs a month ago. viewed the car and noted to salesman number plate lamps were inop he said its waiting workshop prep. only allowed a 2 mile test drive due to lack of fuel! so i collected the car 4 days later with the fuel guage 0 miles to empty! not happy but in a rush accepted this after a moan. then got home to find number plate lamps still inop and a 4" crack in the windscreen (hid cleaverly by tax disc holder) note the car had an mot put on it day before! how bad is that! i know 1st hand they have poor techs working there though. i will never visit them again!

superb guys many thanks. ill get the lamps looked at and set etc if poss on sat then. and i agree they seem far too low on roads out in the sticks, they are useless in my opinion. im hoping improvments can be made lol!

any members have a fabia vrs with the above mentioned options and if so do you know if when you switch the headlamps on they rise up in height i.e as if you could manually should they have the 1 2 3 height adjust switch in car. i know the xenon equiped dont have the manual adjust as they are supposed to self adjust. but mine seems not to adjust and do appear very low? also when cruise is on do you get a symbol on the clock pod showing its active? most cars i have driven do but mine doesnt? help appriciated folks.

still snowing here in nottingham. had about 6 inches now at a guess. the roads are seriously bad having just got in from a 3 mile journey taking 45 mins! from 7 30. serious dont go out unless its nessisarry! i dont rate the little fabia vrs in the snow to be honest. (standard minus eibachs)

the car is quick enough for now i feel. driven pleanty of mapped PD cars so know what to expect. im happy as is for now and when im board with the stock power ill go all out with a new clutch etc to cope with a harsh map. my previous car was a corsa sri cdti 100 bhp stock. so the fabia is a different animal!

just wanted to update my thread on my fabia vrs had it two weeks now and its honestly epic! so completed a few mods as planned above. de rub strip doors, lowered on eibachs, and cupra splitter. next is the door handles to be painted next month. so the pics arent too good due to snow starting to fall! and darkness. hope the pics work im not too cleaver with computers lol.

lets also remember that the fabia was released in what 99 and the polo in question 2002? both on the same chassis so that makes the polo a copy on the fabia. i like all vag cars even had a polo and was nice like the rest of em seats audis vws and of course or beloved skodas. i never feel the need to have to explain what my fab vRS is to anyone. i.e its a vw ya know etc etc. if folk dont know what they are by now then they dont know anything at all! and never will

thanks to all welcomers. well only a few slight mods nothing drastic as i like oem really. eibach lowering springs, cupra splitter, colour coded door handles, de rub strip sides etc poss light smoke rear tints and octy 17's in future.

well im new to the forum so be kind lol. i have used the search button but cant find a recent enough post for my question. which is i have decided to go for a set of eibach 25mm lowering springs to just take the edge off the standard ride height (and cos im skint and cant afford a full setup) where is the best and cheepest place to source a set? all help appriciated.
